With Resident Evil 3 slowly approaching its release date, Capcom's dropped a new trailer with the remake's big centerpiece on full display. The developers have decided to show what kind of a makeover (and a terrifying one at that) the villain of the game, Nemesis, has undergone.
The trailer showcases Nemesis in action, showing off his skills, weapons, and a whole bunch more. Although there are other characters and enemies shown in the trailer, the main star is Nemesis. After all, anyone who has ever played the original Resident Evil 3 knows very well what kind of a monster Nemesis truly is and what he is capable of. Seeing him undergo such an enhancement (gameplay-wise and graphics-wise) is certain to get players' attention and prepare them for the actual game when it comes out.
As impressive as Nemesis may look, further improvements will be kicking around under the hood. Earlier this month, PlayStation Magazine UK confirmed that the remake's version of Nemesis will have an updated AI that will make him much more unpredictable in return. In other words, the new Nemesis will be far more dangerous and terrifying, thus posing a much bigger threat when compared to his original version.
Ultimately, this is sure to get hardcore fans of the series even more excited. To see such an iconic monster improved from the ground up and made to look even more threatening is a real treat. As for those who never played the original Resident Evil 3, they're definitely in for a surprise. Even those who managed to deal with Mr. X from Resident Evil 2 are going to have to up their game and think of other ways to deal with Nemesis because he is going to be very different.
Resident Evil 3 Remake will release on April 3, 2020 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and will be bundled with Resident Evil Resistance - a 1 vs 4 multiplayer experience.
