It is safe to say Capcom has done a successful job in remaking Resident Evil 4 with the game becoming the second-fastest selling in the series to date. Racking up more than four million units sold worldwide and on track to overtake Resident Evil 6 as the fastest selling, the remake has drawn old fans and newcomers alike.

Not only that but the game has spawned a torrent of community debate and discussion, fan-made lore videos, easter egg discoveries, and tributes. One in the latter vein sought to recreate the game's attache case in real life. With an image showing someone dressed as Leon Kennedy, the person lay down next to a selection of guns and weapons to show scale and how the inventory in said attache would look in the real world. Suffice to say, it takes up a decent amount of space.

The attache case, just in case there are those who don't know, has the function of the player's inventory screen, and consists of a grid onto which players can snap items into place. The attache case can contain weapons, weapon attachments, ammo, and health items, but the amount of items it can contain is initially small before expanding if players make use of the option to buy larger cases, which they almost certainly will.

Over on the popular Gaming subreddit (linked above), one fan decided to recreate the game's attache case in real life and it seems this attache case would have to be quite large to contain all those items. It is one of those game things that don't quite add up to reality and others in the thread quickly threw up other game examples. One being that Leon has been calculated to be able to run at more than 40mph, which would easily make him the fastest human being ever.

"Rocket launchers should be more, it bugs me that it's the same as the shotty", wrote one redditor. "Yeah the RPG-7 is huge", came a reply. "They have it like half scale". One especially popular comment referenced another game. "Reminds me of the Wolfenstein meme, where you take armor parts, ending with the character having a hundred Wehrmacht helmets on his head at once".

It could be the case that Leon carries around very small weapons, redditors joked, or that he's pulling around some "big ass luggage" for his weapons and items. Whichever the case, it's a fun little image that shows just how much game characters really carry around with them. But in the case of Resident Evil the characters really do need all of their stuff even if it's not quite realistic to be hauling around so much gear.
