With Resident Evil: Village set to launch in the coming months, fans are finding creative ways to pass the time until it releases. The recent Resident Evil Showcase celebrating the 25th anniversary of the iconic gaming franchise gave a better glimpse at the European castle and village players will soon get to explore.

Capcom even managed to reveal the height of everyone's favorite villainous giant woman named Lady Dimitrescu. She stands at a staggering 9'6" which instantly makes her one of the largest video game characters in recent memory. Though giant by humanoid standards, she might be intimidated by these 10 video game giants. One is literally a giant!

10 Kraid From Metroid (9'8")

The world of the Metroid games is full of weird and disgusting aliens that come in all shapes and sizes. One of the larger foes Samus has to take down is a reptilian alien with 3 eyes. Fans will definitely remember the character who goes by the name of Kraid.

This large, disgustingly green beast stands at a height of 9'8"; this puts him slightly taller than Lady Dimitrescu but only by a few inches. That means that she'd likely not need the suit or weapons Samus has to give Kraid a fair fight whether on Earth or in space somewhere.

9 Centiskorch From Pokemon (9'10")

Pokemon can come in a variety of heights with many of the final evolutionary forms being two to three times the size of their base form. Centiskorch is a Bug and Fire-type from the Galar region that made its introduction into the series via Pokemon Sword & Shield, the first mainline entries for the franchise released on the Nintendo Switch.

The Radiator Pokemon, as it's known, comes in at a length of 9'10". It's unclear how Lady Dimitrescu would fair against a giant bug like this, but it wouldn't be surprising if it ended up as her pet.

8 General Raam From Gears Of Wars (10')

gears of war general raam

Gears of War is a video game franchise centered around extremely muscular humans taking on a threat looking to take over their Earth-like planet. When coming up with a villain that's imposing enough physically, the game needed to feature something or someone who was of great stature.

General Raam was the solution and, though the games have larger beasts, Raam was just large enough at 10' to be terrifying from both a physical and intellectual level. Human Gears and the government had a tough time trying to strategize a plan to take him down.

7 Giant From The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (11')

By this point in gaming culture, most avid gamers are familiar with the memes surrounding The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and its battles between mammoths and giants. The giants in the game were fierce opponents players avoided at all costs in the early game.

But 50 hours in, it wasn't too hard of a task to cut down the 11' tall giants. They move rather slowly which seems like the key advantage Lady Dimitrescu would have over them. She's not that speedy herself, but she does move at a more human-like pace than they do.

6 Nameless King From Dark Souls 3 (12')

When someone is considered a king, they're automatically given this societal stature that paints them as a larger-than-life character. The Dark Souls 3 boss known as "Nameless King" embodies that in a rather physical display of his power.

Many gamers consider him to be the most difficult boss in the game. A big reason for that is due to his combination of speed and size. Not only does he ride into battle on the back of a drake, but he stands at 12' tall. This makes him even more daunting than his appearance already does.

5 Ridley From Metroid/Smash Bros. (13')

The second Metroid villain to make the list happens to be the most iconic and beloved antagonist of the franchise: Ridley. This character had the fortune of joining the Super Smash Bros. roster where the general audience was able to appreciate the sheer size and gravitas this ptera-flying creature brings.

The Cunning God of Death stands at 13' which is scary in its own right. But that doesn't factor in the wingspan it has or the length of its beak and head. It's hard to imagine Lady Dimitrescu standing a chance against him.

4 Ornstein From Dark Souls (17')

dark souls ornstein

Out of the many Dark Souls bosses that could make this list, it seems most fitting that Ornstein is the one to make the cut. Both he and Smough are relatively the same size, so just consider Smough to also be a part of this list.

Ornstein was one of the knights of Gwyn and one-half of arguably the most iconic fights in the franchise's history. The knight stands at around 17' and, with his blazing speed and accuracy, would likely dismantle the large vampire woman known as Lady Dimitrescu residing in a castle of horrors and nightmares.

3 Phalanx From Shadow Of The Colossus (554')

Since Lady Dimitrescu has tremendously taken over the internet, it's now time to cover video game characters that dwarf her by comparison. The first of this grouping is the Phalanx colossi from Shadow of the Colossus.

Though this gliding creature is very large and comes in at an overall length of around 554', it happens to be the most peaceful and docile thing on this list. Each of its wings is well over 60' which means it could take down Lady Dimitrescu simply by accident if it flew too close to the ground.

2 Cronos From God Of War (1600')

Both the original trilogy and new soft reboot of God of War are known for including some jaw-dropping moments of scale when it comes to characters featured in the game. The largest titan featured in the series is Cronos who stood at around 1600' and made Kratos look like an ant by comparison.

Simply looking up a screenshot will show how insignificant Lady Dimitrescu would be next to Cronos. Kratos himself stands just shy of her at 7', but the image above makes it real clear that an extra two feet wouldn't change much.

1 Riftworm From Gears Of War (42,000')

It wouldn't be a proper list regarding size if a massive creature wasn't highlighted. The Riftworms were the sole reason Locusts came to be in the Gears of War series. They created the Hollow by carving paths with their bodies that were half a mile wide. In terms of length, these terrifying nightmare beasts measured between 8-10 miles long and a mile and a half wide.

When converting that to feet, these false deities reached lengths of 42,000'. Lady Dimitrescu is a large woman, but if she lived on Sera, she could have easily been swallowed by accident simply by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
