The first Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City trailer reveal spurred a lot of, "hey, I know that guy/place/terrifying creature" moments. In an update from Sony Pictures, you can finally get another peak as Welcome to Raccoon City shows off its official movie poster and new vignette trailer.

Earlier this month, Sony Pictures delivered your first look into footage from the movie, filled with horrifying references—including one delightful instance of Itchy Tasty etched in blood. We already saw a ton of familiar faces, as characters like Claire, Jill, Leon, and Chris made their debuts, but the latest trailer is offering a little commentary while highlighting the new Raccoon City's biggest beats.

In what Sony Pictures is calling the Origin Story Vignette, you're reacquainted with classic Resident Evil terrors like Turning Around Zombie—yes, that's canonical name don't question it—and hellish locations like the Raccoon City Police Department and Spencer Mansion. In the new Vignette clip, director Johannes Robert touches on some of the new film's biggest points of pride, and says it's "a very faithful adaptation of the Resident Evil games."

It's quite a quick tease, but Sony Pictures followed up with a little more and showed off Welcome to Raccoon City's official movie poster. It's got a lot of what you may expect, featuring stars like Kaya Scodelario as Claire Redfield, Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield, Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker, and Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy.

The new Resident Evil movie is a departure from the decades-old live-action series you may be used to. As the Milla Jovovich era comes to a close, Capcom's horror franchise is rebooting itself for the big screen. Originally, you were set to see the new film months ago, but a few delays pushed Resident Evil's debut date back. For fans in North America, you can watch Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City on November 24, and anyone trying to catch it in UK cinemas will wait just a bit longer for December 3.
