This title has proven especially popular in recent months, as it's been an ideal way for those in lockdown to still exercise while in the confines of their own home. Ring Fit Adventure offers a multitude of ways for you to exercise, so check out these 10 ways to re-mix your workouts!

10 Adventure Mode

Ring Fit Adventure has many modes that can help you keep your workouts varied, but the main selling point is the Adventure mode. This plays like an RPG where the player moves from level to level in different worlds, with the boss at the end of each world, similar to the older Super Mario titles.

As players increase in level, they gain new skills that they can use in battles, with certain skills being more effective if they match the skill color to the enemy color.

9 Change Difficulty

A great way of customizing your work out by using Adventure mode is to change the difficulty setting. So, whether you fancy really ramping up your work out to give yourself a greater challenge, or whether you want to take it easy for a day, you can easily change the difficulty at any time.

The constant chatter of Ring may get a little annoying when you're consistently using Adventure mode, so a great tip is to mute the game and pop on some great workout music instead.

8 Change Up Your Fit Skills

Another great way of really diversifying your workouts with Adventure mode is to change up your equipped skills. You unlock more skills as you progress, so this is only really worthwhile when you're a decent way through the game to really feel the change.

You can choose certain types of skills to give yourself a set style such as all Yoga moves, or, if you're feeling like a challenge, you can choose the most punishing skills that you normally avoid.

7 Quick Play - Simple

One of the Quick Play options is to choose a Simple workout, which allows players to choose which part of their body they really want to work out and challenges them to certain exercises.

There are varying levels of difficulty to ensure that you can find the right workout for your body. The options for the workout are Pectoralis Major, Latissimus Dorsi, Spinal Erectors, and Quadriceps. Most of these challenges require the Ring-Con peripheral only, but the Quadriceps workout does involve the joy-con attachment for your leg.

6 Quick Play - Minigames

If you want to inject some more fun into your daily workouts, making the most out of the Quick Play minigames is the perfect place to start. There is a whole host of minigames that are enjoyable to play, while still exercising your body.

The description of the minigames will not only tell you what the game involves, but it will also tell you which parts of your body will benefit from its particular workout. If you want to concentrate on a certain area of your body, make sure to choose a game that complements it. The difficulty can also be adjusted to best suit your needs.

5 Quick Play - Sets

One of the more punishing aspects of the Quick Play mode is the Sets option. There is a wide range of sets available, with some being dedicated to working out certain parts of your body, while others are aimed at increasing your overall posture, flexibility, or stamina.

There is a difficulty option available, so you can choose how hard you want your workout to be, as well as being able to choose which is right for you and your body.

4 Quick Play - Jogging

Quick Play has one more trick up its sleeve and that is the Jogging mode. Players can choose between many different levels so that they are running in different settings and they can also change the difficulty to best suit their own needs.

For best practice, it is recommended that players run on top of a yoga mat or something similar, and be sure to keep water on hand and to take breaks as needed.

3 Custom Workouts

Custom Workouts are a great way for you to really tailor your fitness regime to your needs. There are are a variety of exercises to choose from, with some focusing on body areas such as arms, stomach, and legs, and others offering up certain playstyles such as yoga or jogging.

Players are able to build custom lists with these exercises, so you can create different lists depending on what kind of workout you want. You can edit these at any time if you feel like they need tweaking.

2 Rhythm Game

One of the later modes to be added to the game via a post-launch update is the Rhythm Game. This super fun mode can really mix up your workout by blending rhythm elements to your exercises.

Players are able to choose music from Ring Fit Adventure itself, as well as other tracks from the likes of Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of Wild, Splatoon 2, and Wii Fit. Players can choose between working out their arms and legs or their core and legs, as well as having both novice and advanced modes available.

1 Multitask Mode

Multitask mode allows players to keep exercising without the need for a screen, including the Nintendo Switch itself. Players solely use the Ring-Con to do presses and pulls and these can be done while you are watching TV.

The number of presses and pulls you do are recorded, up to 500 reps, so your exercise is still tracked, but it's a bit more relaxing, as there are no set challenges before you and you can still watch your favorite shows while keeping fit. Additionally, once a day you can earn rewards for Adventure mode by doing this.
