Arcane had its Netflix debut last weekend. The new animated TV series is perhaps Netflix’s biggest launch yet, judging by how hard Riot is trying to make sure everybody knows about it. Riot Games has teamed up with the likes of PUBG, Epic Games, and others to cross the world of Arcane with pretty much whoever will have them, creating Arcane-themed items, events, and even bringing over League of Legends characters to other games.

There’s also another strange crossover happening with Rihanna’s beauty brand, Fenty. Riot and Fenty have teamed up to do… something. We’re not entirely sure what and the press release is light on the details.

Riot says that Fenty “will curate beauty looks” across its products, including “content aiming to highlight the multifaceted and diverse beauty landscape that celebrates beauty in all of its forms.” Both Fenty and Riot “will push the boundaries of collaboration throughout this partnership, both in and out of game.”

This partnership got started with a “VIP beauty experience and Gifting” at Riot’s campus in Los Angeles yesterday as part of the red carpet event for Arcane’s debut. Fenty released a few brief videos on Twitter showing what that was like, and while it seemed interesting, we’re still no closer to determining what exactly these two companies are going to do together.

At a complete guess, Fenty might be consulting on costume and design choices for characters in various Riot games, while Riot will advertise Fenty’s products somehow. Again, that’s a complete guess, and until either Riot or Fenty say more on the subject, we’ll be completely in the dark.

What's far more definitive is Riot's partnership with Epic Games. Besides bringing League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and Valorant to the Epic Games Store, Jinx has arrived in Fortnite as part of the month-long RiotX Arcane event. There's also a Jinx spray, a Jinx backpack, and several other Arcane-themed items available in the Fortnite shop.
