The latest update for Adopt Me! is the Butterfly update, and this is only available on Roblox until August 18 - two weeks! To catch butterflies, you need to head over to the Butterfly Sanctuary, a new area you can explore.

How To Get Butterflies In Adopt Me!
To get butterflies in Adopt Me, you need to follow these steps.
- Enter the Butterfly Sanctuary
- Purchase a Leaf or a Golden Leaf, A Leaf costs 899 bucks, A Golden Leaf costs 199 Robux
- These leaves can be used to catch Butterflies
- Throw the leaves onto the floor and Butterflies will swarm
- It doesn't matter where you throw the leave, the chance to get a Butterfly is always random and based on different numbers
The Leaf will let you catch a Yellow Butterfly (60%), a Scarlet Butterfly (37.5%), and Purple Butterfly (2.5%).
The Golden Leaf will let you catch a Orange Butterfly (60%). a Green Butterfly (37.5%), and the rarest pet, the Diamond Butterfly (2.5%).
The event lasts two weeks, but don't worry - if you don't use all your leaves by the end of the event, the leaves will work as pet boxes in your inventory even after the event ends.

Trading Pets In Adopt Me!
The new Butterflies work just like other pets, and because this is a limited-time event they might be quite valuable in the future. Trading is a way of earning different pets in the future. You could, for example, trade a rare pet for the new Diamond Butterfly.
