The third permanent area in Roblox Mining Simulator 2, Atlantis, is a beautiful underwater city. It features a unique mine with ores exclusive to this area, and there are a total of three new eggs that you can hatch here.
You can hatch eggs to acquire different pets of various rarities. These will then help you in mining faster, giving you more currency for selling. They also look pretty mesmerizing as they wobble around you. The egg hatching is a gacha system, with a certain chance to get a certain pet. The first step to unlocking Atlantis pets is to get to the area.
You can increase your hatching speed and the number of eggs per hatch through Gem Enchants, and the shop where you can spend Robux (currency bought with real money), to get humongous benefits.
How To Unlock The Coral Egg
As soon as you reach Atlantis, you will see a set of three locked eggs on a raised platform to the left. These can be unlocked as you progress in the mines, with the Coral Egg being the easiest to acquire.
You'll need to be at a depth of 228 meters to get to the first outpost, Rocky Depths. Here, you'll find the first chest in Atlantis that you can claim regularly, beside the Coral Egg — which has a cost of 25,000 for each hatch.
Giant Star In Mining Simulator 2
When you hatch the Coral Egg multiple times, you have around a 1.60 percent chance to unlock the Legendary Giant Star pet without any lucky boosts. Since this legendary pet is quite easy to acquire, it doesn't have the best stats compared to the other pets.
How To Unlock The Snorkel Egg
As you dig to a depth of 660 meters, you will find yourself at the second outpost, Sea Shell Shallows. This is where you'll find the Snorkel Egg, alongside the new daily challenge location. You can complete different challenges here to earn rewards, including lucky boosts and gems.
The Snorkel Egg is on the more expensive side, especially considering the fact that you cannot get a currency boost for the Atlantis shell currency on any pets that don't belong to this area. You can hatch one of these eggs for 3,250,000.
King Crab In Mining Simulator 2
By unlocking the Snorkel Egg, you have a 0.2 percent chance to get the Legendary King Crab, which is exclusive to this egg. This is one of the five pets in the egg, and since it's fairly difficult to acquire, its stats are decent for newer players.
How To Unlock Royalty Egg
The Royalty Egg is the most difficult to both unlock and hatch in Atlantis. On the other hand, it also contains both a Secret and an Ancient pet. You'll find this egg at a depth of 1,092 meters, alongside another chest. The egg has a total of five pets displayed, three of them being Legendary.
It is also important to note that the Royalty Egg is time-limited, and it'll be gone from the game around four weeks after the release of Atlantis. With all of this in mind, the 65,000,000 cost to hatch one of these eggs seems justified.
King Pufferfish In Mining Simulator 2
Royalty Egg has the Legendary Royal Wisp, Sea Hybrid, and Sea Monster pets, and they all have an extremely low chance of dropping. You can also unlock the Secret Sea Dragon and the Ancient King Pufferfish pets, which are not displayed on the egg.
Being one of the few Ancient pets in the game, King Pufferfish's stats at level one beat most of the stats of other pets at level 20.
