The world of Roblox Mining Simulator 2 is filled with a variety of ore starting from Silver, Fossils, and Bones in the first area, going up to Mythril, Fire Shards, Unobtanium, and Larimar deep down in the final areas of the mine. The game is pretty balanced in this way and keeps you engaged for a long time.
Larimar is the rarest ore currently present in the entire Overworld. Even after you reach the deepest depths, it'll be a rare sight, and you'd definitely want to take measures to get as many as you can from one block.
Where To Find Larimar
The Overworld in Mining Simulator 2 is divided into seven different depths (sections). When you load into the game for the first time, you begin at the Surface Depth.
As you play more and more, you can get reach the Hidden Treasure, Frozen Depths, Gloomy Basin, Molten Core, The Underworld, and Crystal Cavern levels.
As soon as you reach the Crystal Cavern, you have a chance of finding Larimar as you go further down. You need to dig 1,847 meters down to reach the Crystal Cavern and even further to actually have a significant chance to find Larimar. You'll start finding it below the depth of 2,030 meters, and there's an even higher chance of getting it from 2,250 meters.
How To Farm Larimar Quickly
If you look for Larimar one block at a time, it will take you a very long time to find even one block. Hence, there is a little trick in Mining Simulator 2 that can be used to spot the ore easily. First, you will at least require a Laser Drill as a tool to mine this ore.
- Once you have the required tool and sufficient bag space, head over to the required depth mentioned above. After reaching it, farm any block on one of your sides and squeeze yourself into that block.
- Next, zoom out your view all the way by rotating the Mouse Wheel and then move your Mouse around. At one point, your screen will zoom out completely, and it will show you the layout of the mine where you'll also be able to see all the nearby ore locations just like the picture above.
- Locate Larimar, which is a blue ore scattered across this area. Make sure you don't confuse it with the Cyan ore, as that's different but a similar color. Once you've found it, you can simply dig towards it slowly and reach the ore.
Since Larimar is super rare, enchanting your tool as much as possible is recommended to get more drops from one block. You can do this by clicking on your tool in the Items section and clicking on Enchant. This process requires Gems.
