Beware though, you will be tackling blocks stacked up to 28,000 in your endeavor to look for Starfish on this new island. Getting there itself is not an easy task, but if you're also a fairly new player, finding this ore is going to be even harder for you. However, it can become a little easier with a few useful tips.

Where To Find Starfish

To set on your journey to find Starfish, you will first need to farm a million ores in the mines that are available as soon as you load into the game. If you're just starting out, this can take you quite a long time, but it's definitely worth it as this island isn't going to be there forever.

Once you've unlocked Space Travel after farming that quantity, you can head over to the new island as it doesn't require you to upgrade the Spaceship. Once you're there, head over to the brand-new mining area and start digging. You will have to dig very deep unless you get lucky.

Starfish start appearing around the depth of 570 meters, which is also when the ores stacked up to 28,000 start appearing. You will have to go through a lot of these to find a decent amount of Starfish. Although, it can be made easier with a little trick.

Sometimes, you can find paths created by people in the mines already. Follow these paths as deep as you can and then start doing your own digging to save some time. You can also stumble upon open areas that contain a lot of these ores and some chests while you're digging as well.

How To Farm Starfish Quickly

Since we're talking about heavily stacked blocks while looking for Starfish, most of the players can't afford to spend the time it requires to normally mine the blocks and let the game decide how much Starfish you get. So, there is a little trick that can reduce this grind and give you the chance to write your own destiny — at least, sort of.

After reaching the required depth, preferably over 600 meters where Starfish appear more commonly, you can just mine any block around you and go inside the space created by this block. Next, zoom your camera out as much as you can and move it around. You will get the location of the nearest Starfish this way.

Now that you have your destination, simply hack away at the blocks in its direction until you reach it and keep repeating the process as much as you want.
