The Fall Guys soundtrack is already pretty high-energy, but this rock cover of “Fall ‘n’ Roll” will pick you up no matter how many times you fall down.

There’s something about the Fall Guys soundtrack. It’s just all earworms that lay their eggs in your brain, infecting you with those happy “whoops” and “woahs.” And even though there are only six songs in the entire game, each of them is the perfect backdrop to running through an obstacle course filled with falling fruit and spinning tubes.

The Fall Guys OST was already catchy, but adding a guitar riff? Now you’ve got a summer song to end all summer songs.

From Rhode Island-based three-piece video game cover band Lame Genie comes this rock cover of “Fall ‘n’ Roll,” the music that most often plays in the first non-team-based game in Fall Guys. it’s the song you’ll most often hear before being eliminated and being forced to listen to it again and again and again. Not that we’re complaining or anything.

Lacey Johnson plays backing vocals, and we have absolutely no idea what she's saying. And neither do the boys at Lame Genie, according to a follow-up tweet which blames Lacey falling "down a bunch before recording" for whatever it is she's saying.

One down, five more to go and we'll have the entire Fall Guys soundtrack covered in glorious rock and roll. C'mon, Lame Genie, you got this!

These guys might also be getting ahead of the curve with another of their recent covers. The sub-boss song from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game isn't exactly a Billboard top 100, but it's definitely a banger when redone with power chords and a sweet guitar solo.

And Ubisoft might even be bringing that game back for a remaster. It's a little too early to say one way or the other, but you never know. We're hopeful.

Oh, and in case you want the entire Fall Guys OST, original composers Jukio Kallio & Daniel Hagström have it over on their YouTube page here. Enjoy.
