Rocket League Season 3 kicks off on April 7, and Psyonix has officially revealed its corresponding Rocket Pass. This season will feature more than 70 tiers of "new items celebrating speed," including the Tyranno car on its Premium track.

"Season 3's Rocket Pass needed a new car to set the pace, and Tyranno is the perfect high-octane car for the task," Psyonix announced. "This speed demon with the Dominus hitbox is ready for the pitch, and is unlocked immediately with Rocket Pass premium. Don't forget, Rocket Pass Premium gives players additional Weekly and Seasonal Challenges, plus an XP boost to help you Tier Up even faster. Players who have Rocket Pass Premium also get access to the Pro Rewards beyond Tier 70, which unlock variants of select Rocket Pass Items."

The team said you'll also find the Chequered Flag Goal Explosion, Traction Wheels, Retrogression Animated Decal, new Player Anthems, and other exclusive unlockables. Complete the entire pass and you'll earn 1000 Credits to unlock even more content.

Pro Tiers are seeing a bit of a rework this season, as Tiers beyond 70 are no longer hidden. "Instead, players at Tier 70 or beyond will now see what item they can unlock 30 Tiers in advance. We will also be adding back the ability to purchase Pro Tiers."

The new Rocket Pass will arrive on April 7 – following the big game update on April 6 at 4pm PT.

Rocket League switched to a free-to-play model late last year, giving the popular game a boost in player count. Since then, Psyonix has been pumping out updates at a frequent clip, including crossovers with the X Games, Ghostbusters, and even Ford. The Season 3 Rocket Pass is further proof that support for the six-year-old game shows no signs of slowing down.

Rocket League is available for free on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
