Just when you thought Rockstar had finally run out of ideas to squeeze yet more cash out of GTA Online, enter GTA+. It's a new subscription service launching next week that will provide a "range of valuable benefits for both new and long-standing players on the latest generation consoles."

Those benefits include half a million GTA$ every month, alongside opportunities to purchase properties "that unlock gameplay updates you may have missed out on." You'll also get early access to new vehicles, upgrades, members-only discounts, and more GTA$ and RP bonuses.

Starting March 29 and running to April 27, GTA+ subscribers can enjoy the following benefits.

  • Early access to The Principe Deveste Eight vehicle along with two liveries.
  • Relocate to The Auto Shop located in La Mesa for an assortment of gameplay updates for Los Santos Tuners.
  • Your LS Car Meet Membership fees waived (if you already paid, expect GTA$500,000 to be reimbursed).
  • Access to the Aquarius Super Yacht and a free upgrade for current yacht owners.
  • The Gussét Frog Tee and Broker Prolaps Basketball Top and Shorts.
  • The Conveyor Livery for the Mammoth Avenger, HVY APC, and TM-02 Khanjali.
  • Some free paints and emblems at The Auto Shop.
  • 3X GTA$ and RP on Hao’s Special Works Race Series.
  • 2X Car Meet Rep on the Street Race Series.

GTA+ members can also purchase GTA+ Shark Cards which provide bonus cash from both the PlayStation and Microsoft storefronts.

Curiously, Rockstar is limiting GTA+ to just the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S despite the fact the vast majority of players are still on previous-gen consoles. Rockstar made no mention of bringing this subscription service to the PS4 or Xbox One, so perhaps this is just its way of encouraging players to get the recently-released next-gen upgrade.

You can sign up for GTA+ at any of GTA Online's in-game stores on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. The price is $5.99 USD per month, with players able to cancel at any time.
