Rogue Company is a new shooter game that is free-to-play on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and Nintendo Switch and it has an intricate weapon, or gun, tier list. It can be difficult to choose which Rogue to use, and a lot of it depends upon the types of guns they have in their arsenal. There are several different builds with the best guns, from those with DMRs to those who primarily use an SMG as their main weapon.

They all have various damage rates, ranges, and firing rates that can change their overall performance — note that the stats listed for each weapon are before they are upgraded. Some take more skill to use than others, and it also depends upon your personal playstyle, but this ranking can help you decide which weapon might become your new favorite!

Updated on June 19, 2021 by Rebecca O’Neill: Rogue Company has released two new Rogues — Mack and Seeker. Mack’s perk is that he starts the game with an extra 25 armor that regenerates every time he downs an opponent. He also comes equipped with a massive flashbang that can turn the tide of a match.

Seeker can reveal an enemy's location with his bouncing arrow, and his projectiles deal 60% more damage when they are bounced. These two new rogues have led to the addition of three new guns, although the DMR is the one you should look out for in Rogue Company.

Shotguns

Arbitrator

Rogue Company Arbitrator

This is by far the worst gun in the game as you literally have to be in their face in order to kill them, and don't miss your shots — because you only have two bullets. Don't even bother trying to shoot someone at medium-range either, as it only does 35 damage.

This gun does become a bit better when upgraded, although it will cost you $23,000 and isn't worth it when compared to other guns in the game.

  • Rogues: Anvil, Scorch
  • Body Damage: 104
  • Range: 6.5
  • Mag Size: 2
  • Fire Rate: 2.5
  • Handling: 20
  • Reload Time: 2.4

S12 Tactical

Rogue Company S12 tactical

This shotgun is a step above the Arbitrator, but not by much. It can kill at close or medium ranges in two to three shots, although long-range is out of the picture as it should be for a shotgun.

The biggest downfall is that even fully upgraded a headshot is not an instant kill, which could hold you back in a close-range fight with an SMG.

  • Rogues: Vy, Sigrid
  • Body Damage: 64
  • Range: 8
  • Mag Size: 6
  • Fire Rate: 2.7
  • Handling: 36
  • Reload Time: 0.4

SKL-6

Rogue Company SKL-6

Some might not like the slower fire rate of this shotgun, but it gives leeway for beginners. It can shoot at both close-range and medium-range, with extra shots in case your accuracy isn't the best. You want to fully upgrade it to have it at its best if you plan to use this as your primary.

  • Rogues: Chaac, Glitch
  • Body Damage: 88
  • Range: 7.5
  • Mag Size: 5
  • Fire Rate: 1.9
  • Handling: 31
  • Reload Time: 0.4

Striker 8x10

Rogue Company Striker 8X10

This is the best shotgun in the game if you prefer to use this type of weapon, as it has an automatic fire. It also has the biggest spray of any of them which makes up for the number of shots it often takes to down your opponent.

However, it's only carried by Lancer and even her secondary weapon is far better than this, so it is questionable why anyone would ever choose to carry this gun.

  • Rogues: Lancer
  • Body Damage: 60
  • Range: 6
  • Mag Size: 8
  • Fire Rate: 3.6
  • Handling: 23
  • Reload Time: 2.5

Pistols

A3 Salvo

Rogue Company A3 Salvo 2

This is the worst pistol you could use in the game, and luckily Scorch and Seeker are the only two who carry it. The damage rate is technically higher than the others, but its slow fire rate holds it back immensely.

  • Rogues: Scorch, Seeker
  • Body Damage: 36
  • Range: 13
  • Mag Size: 18
  • Fire Rate: 7.1
  • Handling: 57
  • Reload Time: 1.8

Executioner

Rogue Company Executioner

This is a pretty middle-of-the-road secondary weapon as it isn't the best, but it's also not the worst. It can be fairly accurate and is shootable before and after upgrades.

However, there are some better options out there if part of your focus is to have a deadly secondary.

  • Rogues: Anvil, Dima, Glitch, Saint, Trench, Vy, Dahliasigri
  • Body Damage: 32
  • Range: 15
  • Mag Size: 12
  • Fire Rate: 4.4
  • Handling: 28
  • Reload Time: 2

P12K

Rogue Company P12K

This gun is fairly similar to the Executioner, and it's pretty much down to player preference as to which one you want to use. Some say it is a little better because of the high fire rate as it can better compete with an SMG.

RELATED: Rogue Company: Ultimate, Standard, And Starter Founder’s Packs, Explained

It is a great starter gun if you can't afford to buy your primary at the beginning of the game.

  • Rogues: Phantom, Talon, Kestrel
  • Body Damage: 25
  • Range: 15
  • Mag Size: 8
  • Fire Rate: 5.3
  • Handling: 41
  • Reload Time: 1.4

Warrant

Rogue Company Warrant

This is another pistol that is once again very similar to the others, but it is a bit better because of its high fire rate. It makes up for the low amount of damage it does to an opponent.

If you are a bit more accurate and don't need the high fire rate for spraying bullets then you might go with the Executioner.

  • Rogues: Sigrid, The Fixer, Mack
  • Body Damage: 20
  • Range: 12
  • Mag Size: 15
  • Fire Rate: 6.9
  • Handling: 28
  • Reload Time: 1.7

Spitfire

Rogue Company Spitfire

The Spitfire is classified as a pistol, but it is just a weaker SMG that Ronin loves to carry. You are basically guaranteed a kill at very close-range, while the recoil makes it almost impossible to hit any sort of distance shot.

The recoil doesn't improve by much even after fully upgraded, although it is great for super aggressive players.

  • Rogues: Chaac, Lancer, Ronin
  • Body Damage: 16
  • Range: 9
  • Mag Size: 15
  • Fire Rate: 10
  • Handling: 29
  • Reload Time: 1.6

LW6 Revolver

Rogue Company LW6 Revolver

Some might laugh at this ranking, but this revolver is extremely powerful, especially if you can hit headshots. The one plus side to this gun is that it is great for all ranges and can compete against SMGs in a fight if you can move and shoot.

  • Rogues: Dallas
  • Body Damage: 36
  • Range: 16
  • Mag Size: 6
  • Fire Rate: 2.8
  • Handling: 47
  • Reload Time: 1.6

DMR

Devotion

Rogue Company Devotion

This gun is only carried by Dallas (here is a complete guide to this character) and it is pretty terrible if accuracy isn't your middle name. It also takes two to three shots to kill and even when upgraded it's not much better than the worst shotguns.

  • Rogues: Dallas
  • Body Damage: 47
  • Range: 37
  • Mag Size: 6
  • Fire Rate: 2.2
  • Handling: 47
  • Reload Time: 0.5

MX-R

Rogue Company MXR

This DMR is just really weak overall, even when upgraded, but it is more accurate than the Devotion. It shoots pretty slowly and takes quite a few shots to kill an opponent, so you are better off using the worst assault rifle for some of these long-range shots.

  • Rogues: Trench, Dahlia
  • Body Damage: 30
  • Range: 27
  • Mag Size: 12
  • Fire Rate: 4.7
  • Handling: 36
  • Reload Time: 2

Arren L2-12

Arren L2-12 in Rogue Company

The Arren L2-12 is a middle ground in terms of the DMR as it has great range and handling, but it lacks in damage. You can upgrade it to reduce its recoil even further, as well as increase its scope and magazine size.

This gun was originally in the game back in Season One, but it was removed and this is the first time players have seen it since.

  • Rogues: Seeker
  • Body Damage: 30
  • Range: 35.01
  • Mag Size: 15
  • Fire Rate: 5.26
  • Handling: 48
  • Reload Time: 1.6

Mamba

Rogue Company Mamba

This is a gun for an aggressive player who likes to play as Dima or Saint as it is terrible at long-range, not bad at medium-range, and great at close-range if you generally don't miss your shots.

This is a three-round burst so accuracy is key with this weapon, and the upgrade is worth it to make this weapon better.

  • Rogues: Dima, Saint
  • Body Damage: 45
  • Range: 29
  • Mag Size: 30
  • Fire Rate: 8.9
  • Handling: 49
  • Reload Time: 2

D3D-i

Rogue Company D3D-i

It takes three shots to kill an opponent, which might seem like a lot but its accuracy makes up for it. This weapon is more accurate than the HRM-30KS and upgrading it reduces the recoil even further.

This gun is something opponents should fear if it is placed in the right teammate's hands.

  • Rogues: Talon, The Fixer
  • Body Damage: 38
  • Range: 34
  • Mag Size: 12
  • Fire Rate: 3.2
  • Handling: 41
  • Reload Time: 1.8

Sniper Rifle

Tyr

Rogue Company Tyr

This is one of the only weapons in the game that has a scope, but it can be more of a hindrance than a help. It is great for zooming in on distant targets, although this game isn't really made for sitting back and taking long-range shots.

RELATED: Rogue Company: Character Tier List

This gun is close to impossible to quick-scope with, and combined with the fact that you only have two bullets, it's almost unusable in a match.

  • Rogues: The Fixer
  • Body Damage: 60
  • Range: 40
  • Mag Size: 2
  • Fire Rate: 3
  • Handling: 20
  • Reload Time: 2.4

LR15 Fullbody

Rogue Company LR15 Fullbody

This is a sniper rifle and it is stronger than it has any business being, especially in terms of its ADS speed. A headshot is an instant kill even before the upgrades and this gun is exceptional at quick scoping.

It is also a cheaper weapon as it really only needs one or two upgrades to make it great, as it is rare you will ever be shooting across the entire map.

  • Rogues: Phantom
  • Body Damage: 70
  • Range: 70
  • Mag Size: 4
  • Fire Rate: 1
  • Handling: 56
  • Reload Time: 0.5

Submachine Gun

Objection

Rogue Company Objection

This thing is a laser even before the upgrades and becomes a death sentence when it is. The biggest downfall is that it really can't hit long-range shots whatsoever which is why it is only good in the hands of players who like to push up in fights.

The damage rate might be low, but the high rate of fire makes up for this shortcoming.

  • Rogues: Dahlia, Mack
  • Body Damage: 11
  • Range: 10
  • Mag Size: 30
  • Fire Rate: 16.7
  • Handling: 35
  • Reload Time: 1.4

D40-C

Rogue Company D40-C

This gun is decent at long-range, which is more than can be said about the Objection. When it is not upgraded it does have a bit of kick to it, although this is something that can be remedied with a bit of practice.

Once you do upgrade it the gun becomes a laser and it will allow you to hit your medium-range targets with ease.

  • Rogues: Chaac, Sigrid
  • Body Damage: 13
  • Range: 12.5
  • Mag Size: 40
  • Fire Rate: 13.3
  • Handling: 20
  • Reload Time: 2

SL-C

Rogue Company SL-C

The recoil on this gun can be unbearable, although the final upgrade removes it almost completely. This gun might not be the strongest, but its fire rate makes up for this.

It is phenomenal at both close and medium ranges and tolerable at a distance if you find yourself in this situation.

  • Rogues: Ronin, Scorch
  • Body Damage: 12
  • Range: 11.5
  • Mag Size: 30
  • Fire Rate: 15
  • Handling: 22
  • Reload Time: 1.4

Knight

Rogue Company Knight

This gun was recently added as a player named Kestrel has made her appearance, and here is a guide on how to play her effectively. It is already fairly strong for an SMG and its high fire rate makes it a deadly weapon.

When upgraded the recoil is reduced, but dropping a ton of cash on it is not entirely worth the cost.

  • Rogues: Kestrel
  • Body Damage: 22
  • Range: 12
  • Mag Size: 20
  • Fire Rate: 8
  • Handling: 33
  • Reload Time: 1.6

24S

Rogue Company 24S

This a very strong and accurate SMG, but the recoil holds it back. It isn't great at distance even after the upgrades, although it is manageable.

This weapon is one of the reasons why players choose to use Lancer, as combined with her abilities it makes her unstoppable.

  • Rogues: Lancer
  • Body Damage: 15
  • Range: 12.5
  • Mag Size: 24
  • Fire Rate: 11.4
  • Handling: 24
  • Reload Time: 1.4

LMP-X

Rogue Company LMP-X

The LMP-X might not be the fastest SMG on the market, but when you combine its recoil and damage it is a must-have. When this gun is upgraded the recoil is gone and it makes it a laser for any distance.

It is really up to the player to decide whether they like this SMG or the Knight better, as they are fairly similar.

  • Rogues: Glitch, Talon
  • Body Damage: 16
  • Range: 12.5
  • Mag Size: 30
  • Fire Rate: 10.8
  • Handling: 35
  • Reload Time: 1.4

Assault Rifle

Sahara

Sahara in Rogue Company

The Sahara is carried by Seeker, and it is a mid-range weapon. However, it should be avoided at all costs seeing as it is the worst Assault Rifle that you could use.

Its handling, range, and fire rate are pitiful, not to mention this Rogue has a DMR that should be used as an alternative.

  • Rogues: Seeker
  • Body Damage: 24
  • Range: 21
  • Mag Size: 20
  • Fire Rate: 7.25
  • Handling: 29
  • Reload Time: 2.4

HRM-30KS

Rogue Company HRM-30KS

This is the strongest assault rifle in Rogue Company, but it is also the least accurate no matter which game mode you play. The recoil can make it useless in an inexperienced player's hands, especially if they are a fan of the spraying method.

However, the accuracy of the gun improves tremendously if you tap the trigger rather than hold it down. When the gun is upgraded the recoil is drastically reduced, although this is still a gun that should be left to the pros.

  • Rogues: Dallas, Trench
  • Body Damage: 24
  • Range: 23
  • Mag Size: 20
  • Fire Rate: 6.1
  • Handling: 30
  • Reload Time: 1.9

KA30

Rogue Company KA30

Some might place this higher up in the ranking, although they often neglect to even give the other guns a chance in this run-and-gun game. It is true that it is slightly stronger than the MLX Maw, but it doesn't make up for the faster fire rate and better accuracy of the other weapon.

RELATED: Rogue Company: How To Play And Win Demolition Mode

Its recoil does become nonexistent after upgrading, but there are still better medium-range to long-range weapons you could be using.

  • Rogues: Dima, Ronin
  • Body Damage: 19
  • Range: 18
  • Mag Size: 30
  • Fire Rate: 8.2
  • Handling: 37
  • Reload Time: 2.3

Nightshade

Rogue Company Nightshade

If you are looking for an assault rifle to suit your semi-aggressive tendencies then this is the gun for you. It is epic at close-range and medium-range, but distance becomes more difficult because of the amount of recoil.

The high fire rate makes it desirable, as well as the high damage, although its downfall is that the upgrades don't alter the recoil enough to push it all the way to the top.

  • Rogues: Vy
  • Body Damage: 17
  • Range: 15
  • Mag Size: 25
  • Fire rate: 9.9
  • Handling: 46
  • Reload Time: 2.3

MLX Mark 4

Rogue Company MLX Mark 4

The MLX Mark 4 used to be further down the list, but not after an update to the game that made Saint the Rogue to choose. They took the scope off the weapon and now it is a laser that few weapons can compete with during a fight.

There is very little recoil to it, compared to when it had a scope, and it is only a matter of time before they choose to nerf this weapon.

  • Rogues: Saint
  • Body Damage: 19
  • Range: 26
  • Mag Size: 30
  • Fire Rate: 7.5
  • Handling: 55
  • Reload Time: 2.3

Riptide

Rogue Company Riptide

The Riptide is one of the new additions to Rogue Company and its fire rate and high damage make it the best gun in the game. There is very little recoil to it and shooting it feels like a dream come true for assault rifle users.

The increased range compared to the MLX Maw is what put it over the top as it can hit players with ease at any distance.

  • Rogues: Kestrel
  • Body Damage: 16
  • Range: 24
  • Mag Size: 30
  • Fire Rate: 9.2
  • Handling: 32
  • Reload Time: 2

Light Machine Gun

MLX Maw

Rogue Company MLX-Maw

If an LMG is more your style then you only have two options, including the MLX Maw. It has slight recoil before the upgrades, but it is very manageable for decent shooters.

However, it is the perfect weapon for beginners due to the large magazine, decent damage rates, and high rate of fire. Many see it as the best gun in the game due to its versatility as it is great for skilled and unskilled players alike.

  • Rogues: Anvil
  • Body Damage: 16
  • Range: 18
  • Mag Size: 60
  • Fire Rate: 11
  • Handling: 26
  • Reload Time: 4

Conviction

Conviction in Rogue Company

The Conviction is just the second LMG to be added to the game, but it is a thousand times better than the MLX Maw. Its stats are amazing as it does more body damage and has a faster fire rate.

This gun even has better handling and a slightly faster reload time that will have you shredding through the competition.

  • Rogues: Mack
  • Body Damage: 25
  • Range: 20
  • Mag Size: 50
  • Fire Rate: 7.14
  • Handling: 30
  • Reload Time: 3.2
