You may have heard roguelite and roguelike used together. The two sound very similar and are often interchanged, but there is a difference. Both games involve dungeon crawling, but in roguelite games such as Midautumn, you don't lose everything after a run. You may keep equipment and experience after you die. In roguelike games though, you must start over from scratch after death.
