Ex-Fnatic player Abed "Abed" Yusop may be going to Evil Geniuses, according to a supposed Dota 2 insider.

Fnatic revealed Abed's departure from the squad today, disclosing that it was Abed's decision to not renew his contract with the organization. Though there was no insight on where Abed would end up, it now looks like he may be headed for Evil Geniuses.

In the same Reddit comment, the leaker states that both Syed "SumaiL" Hassan and Gustav "s4" Magnusson will soon leave Evil Geniuses. The Redditor further speculates that Abed and Virtus.pro's Roman "RAMZES666" Kushnarev will be joining Evil Geniuses in their place. They further reveal that Ramzes would play position three for Evil Geniuses, suggesting that Abed would take over position two from SumaiL. Though the poster offers no speculation on where s4 would go next, the comment does reveal that SumaiL is potentially building a new roster with his brother, Yawar "YawaR" Hassan. Yawar currently plays for Newbee.

The Reddit commenter suspects that Newbee members Arif "MSS" Anwar and Quinn "CCnC" Callahan could be joining SumaiL and YawaR on the new squad. None of this information has been confirmed yet.

In the post, the Redditor spectates as to other roster changes, including a number of player releases. The commenter lists Johan "pieliedie" Åström and Jingjun "Sneyking" Wu as removed from Newbee, while revealing that Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng could be leaving Team Secret. Additionally, the poster states that Secret has sought out Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen to fill the vacancy, though MATUMBAMAN did announce that he was taking a break from professional Dota 2 just a few days ago.

The commenter is also confident that Team Liquid's main four will stick together, though Aliwi "w33" Omar's future is uncertain. The Redditor also lists Alliance and OG as staying away from any roster changes, though OG's Anathan "ana" Pham will be going on hiatus. OG's Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen recently announced that he will be taking a short break as well.

Finally, the commenter suggests that Virtus.pro is likely to disband their entire Dota 2 roster.

Apart from Fnatic's, none of these roster changes have been confirmed. The Reddit commenter does appear to have a record of reliability, though nothing is official until an organization makes an announcement.
