No name is too big when it comes to a collaboration with Fortnite, and it sounds like Drake might be next up on the list. A recent datamine has uncovered a new skin with the rapper's name, indicating that the four-time Grammy winner might be dropping into the battle royale soon.

Hypex, a reputable Fortnite dataminer, tweeted the leak on Saturday morning. Several codenames of upcoming skins were revealed within that tweet, with Drake being the most noticeable in the bunch. While there's no guarantee that the codename is referring to the rapper, it seems to be the most likely scenario.

A Drake Fortnite skin wouldn't be too surprising either. The game has already featured a ton of big name brands and artists, including Drake collaborator, Travis Scott. Epic Games has the money to work with just about anyone it wants to, meaning that even Drake isn't out of the question.

The Toronto artist plans to release an album this year, reportedly titled, Certified Lover Boy. His new single, Laugh Now Cry Later, is already a mainstream hit, and it wouldn't be a surprise if the artist is lining up a Fortnite collaboration as well to contribute to the album's hype.

This might even point to another in-game concert event featuring Drake. Travis Scott's in-game show broke streaming records back in April, and Fortnite's Party Royale mode has been featuring a slew of popular performers since. Breaking the records set by the Travis event would be a challenge to say the least, but if anyone can do it, it's probably Drake.

Now that the Joyride Update is live, Drake's music is already in the game, meaning that the team at Epic has been in contact with the rapper's representatives. With songs like Fake LoveToosie Slide, and God's Plan already playing on Party Royale Radio, it seems even more likely that the man behind those hit singles will be introduced soon.

Whether or not this leak does in fact point to a Fortnite Drake skin is yet to be seen. Given the game's track record, it certainly wouldn't be a surprise. Fortnite continues to feature some of the world's biggest names brands in pop culture, and Drake certainly won't be the last.
