If a new leak from 4chan is to be believed, we now know what Rainbow Six Siege's upcoming Operators will look like.

Ubisoft has been on a mission with Rainbow Six Siege. Released way back in 2015, the game is still going strong and is one of the most played FPSs on the market. This is not only due to its unique and engaging gameplay, but also the steady stream of content that is dripped into the game on a regular basis.  Since its launch, dozens of new operators have been released, several maps have been added, and bugs have been fixed. Each update brings the game to new heights, and the upcoming Year 4 Season 3 content looks to continue the trend.

It was already known that the two new operators would hail from Mexico and Peru, and that their character specific gadgets would include a shield that drops fire when destroyed and a grappling hook. However, a leak this week reveals what these two operators might look like.

The images in question are not actual gameplay footage; instead they look to be a sort of concept art. It's also hard to tell if they are carrying any of their alleged gadgets since the photos don't focus on the operators. There might be a hint of a grappling hook or shield on both of their backs, but it's not entirely clear.

Even so, the leaks seem to be legit, with a prominent "Siege leaker" claiming they are real. The content of the images also mesh with Ubisoft's own posts back in February, which contained photos that related to antique trafficking, and were done in the same art style as these new leaks.

It has been confirmed, however, that a new map will not be included in this Season. Instead, Ubisoft will rework a pre-existing map; Kanal. This seems like a missed opportunity, as a temple or ancient ruins in Mexico could have led to some intense firefights.

No official word has come down from Ubisoft about the images, so it's all speculation at this point, but we feel pretty confident that they are legit. We also don't have a release date for the Year 4 Season 3 update, although we wouldn't be surprised to see it drop in the coming months.
