Rumor: Warner Bros. Might Be Working On Suicide Squad And Batman Gotham Knights Games

With the registration of some new web domains, it's possible that Warner Bros. is about to drop some news about a new Batman and Suicide Squad game.

It's just a rumor at this point, but it looks like Warner Bros. might be about to reveal a new Batman game called Gotham Knights, as well as a Suicide Squad game, because they registered a couple of suggestive web domains a few days ago.

According to a post made yesterday on Resetera, MarkMonitor Inc. - a domain broker that's been used for other WB Interactive websites - registered the domains suicidesquadgame.com and gothamknights.com a few days ago. Well actually, the latter seems to have been registered all the way back in 1998, but was updated on June 14th 2020. The Suicide Squad domain was registered on June 16th 2020.

Then, on June 17th, another web domain by the name of SuicideSquadKillTheJusticeLeague.com was also registered.

This follows months of WB Games Montreal teasing a new Batman game, and them telling fans to "stay tuned" last month.

It's also been said that Arkham creators Rocksteady were going to unveil a new game at E3 2020 this month, when that was still going to happen. However, to make up for a lack of E3, WB Games is going to be hosting a free virtual event on August 22nd called the DC FanDome event: A Global Experience, which will reportedly feature several major announcements.
