Kenn Michael, who has appeared in every Saints Row game up until now, has confirmed that he won't be making an appearance in the Saints Row reboot.

Although Michael was only a supporting Stilwater citizen in the original Saints Row game, he then cemented himself as iconic to the series by becoming Male Voice 2 in Saints Row 2, Saints Row the Third, Saints Row 4, and even Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. Michael is one of the only voice actors who has appeared in every single Saints Row game in some capacity.

Michael took to Twitter to address some of the questions he'd been receiving about appearing in the next Saints Row title. He said, "Hey!! Shout out to all my Saints Row fans and followers. I’ve been seeing your questions about the new reboot and unfortunately, I was not involved. You won’t be hearing my voice in the new game." The voice actor later Tweeted that he was "Super grateful for all those who rocked with my voice on the game".

Kenn Michael isn't the first voice actor to state that they aren't involved in the Saints Row reboot. Last week, Daniel Dae Kim, the voice actor for Johnny Gat, said that he won't be appearing in the game in any capacity and wished Volition luck with the new direction.

Although Johnny Gat not appearing in the game isn't a big surprise considering the latest entry is a reboot of the series, some fans were holding out hope for Kenn Michael to make an appearance in the game considering that he has been involved in every other Saints Row title.

It also wouldn't be too far-fetched for Michael to voice the Boss again considering he was just one of a few voice options available to players. We haven't yet seen how deep customization can be for the Boss in Saints Row, but it's presumed that the player will still be able to choose between a number of voices for their character, although it notably won't include Michael this time around.
