Earlier this week, we got a pretty lengthy new trailer breaking down all of the features that will be included in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet when it launches next month. Now that Pokemon fans have had plenty of time to comb through the trailer, it turns out that there's actually a couple of unannounced Pokemon that can be very brielfy seen, including what may be the pre-evolution for the already revealed Pokemon Ceruledge and Armarouge.

Shared by the eagle-eyed Redditor sdrey over on the Pokemon subreddit, a never-before-seen Pokemon can be spotted when the player is raiding one of Team Star's Far Cry-style outposts. As the player walks through the base, the little guy pops up in the distance at the 4:08 minute mark and stays there for a few seconds. From a distance it slightly resembles a Pawniard, but it's worth noting that the only other Pokemon around are Fire-Types which Pawniard isn't.

Most people in the comments of the thread believe that it's a pre-evolution to both Ceruledge and Armarouge, and that it will evolve into one of the two if given an item that differs depending on whether you're playing Scarlet or Violet. It would also make sense from a type perspective as well, as Ceruledge and Armarouge are Fire/Ghost and Fire/Psychic respectively.

Another Redditor in the same thread also believes they've spotted a different new Pokemon later in the trailer. Redditor -SpinSanity- points out that if you slow down the trailer at the 9:33 minute mark, you can just about catch a glimpse of a small bug-like creature next to the trainer taking a selfie with his Paldean Wooper, although it is largely concealed by some black text boxes.

While we don't know the names of these mons, they have been added to the growing list of unannounced Pokemon spotted in this latest trailer. Three other new Pokemon were spotted on the minimap too, including a plain grey mouse, a colorful bird wearing what appears to be a little black hat, and a brown mushroom with a chunk of rock sticking out of its head.

Thankfully, we don't have to wait too long to find out what these Pokemon are, as Scarlet & Violet launches on November 18 later this year.
