Kenji Anabuki, the director of Scarlet Nexus, has been releasing daily screenshots and videos for the upcoming title, the latest of which shows off a bit of the game's fast-paced action. All told, there are more than 60 pieces of Scarlet Nexus-related content, offering a deeper look at the highly-anticipated game.

Anabuki seems to have started the massive tweet chain back in December after The Game Awards. "For those who are looking forward to it, from today until the 'release date,' I will publish screenshots every day," wrote Anabuki. Fast-forward to today, and there's a wealth of Scarlet Nexus content littered across the director's Twitter page.

Here's the latest tweet, which features a detailed description of the game's combat.

Scarlet Nexus does not yet have a release date, but is slated to launch towards the middle of 2021. It'll be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, and is being developed and published by Bandai Namco. The RPG will let you jump into the shoes of Yuito Sumeragi and Kasane Randall, members of the Other Suppression Force who are trying to defend New Himuka from deadly foes called the Others.

You'll have various ways to take care of those opponents, including the usual assortment of swords and other close-range weapons – along with the ability to use psychokinesis to throw objects around your environment. Like any good RPG, Scarlet Nexus features a deep customization tree that will let you build your character to fit your playstyle as you progress through the story.

Beyond that, not much is known. If you're curious about the upcoming title, be sure to check out Anabuki's full Twitter feed – there's a lot of great content to trawl through.
