Conan is making its way back to the San Diego Comic-Con for its fifth year in a row at the same Spreckles Theatre it visited before from Wednesday, July 17 through to Saturday, July 20. Tickets are up right now at 1iota.com.

As always, tickets are obtained through a lottery format. Enter in your information for the dates you would like, and if selected, 1iota will contact you via email for those free tickets. As always, one does not need a SDCC badge to obtain tickets. While details of which guests and Funko Pops will appear have yet to be made, details are sure to be released soon with the show's only one week away.

Conan made the announcement himself while donning the Infinity Gauntlet, which is likely going to spell doom for us all.

The Conan show has an entertaining history with each of the SDCC events over the past five years. We saw a well-made Fury Road: Mad Max, with Conan taking the lead of flame-throwing guitarist in a red onesie. Another year Conan introduced the entire cast of the then-upcoming Suicide Squad film, which perhaps would have more lasting power today as memorable if the film had not turned out to be such a disappointment.

Another year brought us a slew of silly celebrity auditions for various roles in the Solo: A Star Wars Story, while Conan also suited up in what may be the most glorious of padded suits and fake hair. The buff action hero can then be contrasted when Conan dressed as Melisandre from Game of Thrones, taking off his necklace to reveal a disturbing figure beneath.

Given that this year Conan announced his show with the use of the Infinity Gauntlet, this writer bets it all that special guests will be Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth, along with other superhero members of the film Avengers: Endgame. Why those three in particular? Well their contracts are all wrapped up, which is why their characters received treatments that were more final than others, and who does not love seeing those three together?

We could be way off, but half the fun of events like San Diego Comic Con is speculating what weird and wonderful things will occur. For now, hop onto Instagram and follow @Conancon to get up to date reveals as to who the special guests might be and what manner of Funko Pops will arrive this year.

The San Diego Comic Con will take place this year from Thursday July 18 to Sunday July 21.
