Fans of all things Fortnite are in for a real treat, as the San Diego Comic-Con 2019 Funko reveal is none other than our favorite supply cache that we love to bash. A glow-in-the-dark Loot Llama Funko Pop!, also exclusive to Walmart, will be hitting the scene in the near future. The second exclusive is from Overwatch, in the form of McCree.
For now, it's unclear if these will be the only two SDCC exclusive Funko Pop! toys associated with games. Word is we'll get over 75 total new figures this year, so it's hard to believe only two fall into the realm of video game characters. Eager collectors are left waiting in the meantime, but those lucky enough to be in attendance at the event can check out the Funko booth at stall #3249.
The Loot Llama will be joining the long list of other Fortnite Funko Pops previously released and available now for collection. Currently, fans can find Drift, Ragnarok, Dark Vanguard, Valor, Tricera Ops, Sparkle Specialist, DJ Yonder, TomatoHead, Leviathan, and P.A.N.D.A. Team Leader. These are generally available in any location that sells Funko Pops.
Others meanwhile have released as exclusives to a particular store:
- Rex is available as a Target exclusive.
- Pop! Skull Trooper is available as a Walmart exclusive.
- A flocked Pop! Cuddle Team Leader is available as a GameStop exclusive.
- Pop! Brite Bomber is available as an Amazon exclusive.
Apart from Pop! figures, there is a broad range of Fortnite merchandise to choose from. This includes action figures with numerous points of articulation. The Squad Mode four-figure pack offers small action figures with limited movement, while the McFarlane action figure offers the most points of detail and articulation.
These more detailed models exist for the Cuddle Team Leader, Raptor, Green Glow Skull Trooper, and others that are on the way.
As for the remainder of the SDCC reveal, we can only hope that more exclusives are coming for our favorite Fortnite characters. In particular, is it not the perfect time for John Wick to make an appearance, given the recent release of the third film, John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum? The time feels right for Funko to capitalize on the film's $3,000,000-plus box office success.
