Comic-Con International begins on Thursday, July 18th at the San Diego Convention Center. As the event draws closer, a schedule has been released. It contains details of exhibitions, panels, podcasts, and presentations. Here are some of the highlights for Thursday 18 July.

  • Unreal Gaming10:00am - 11:00am

This panel of game developers will be hosting a games development deep dive, discussing designing and building impactful games using the Unreal Engine.

  • Terminator: Dark Fate11:00am - 12:00pm

This panel discussion is set to feature a footage presentation with talent and filmmakers of the upcoming Paramount Pictures movie. There is no word about if any information will be released about rumored Terminator game DLC.

  • Building A Legend: Inside and Out11:45am - 12:45pm

This panel includes developers from Respawn Entertainment. It will offer a behind the scenes look at the process of developing the story, art, gameplay, and more for Apex Legends. The panel will be followed by a Q&A.

  • Hearthstone’s Next Expansion12:00pm - 1:00pm

Dave Kosak, Hearthstone Game developer, gets together with some of the voice actors to talk Saviors of Uldum. The discussion will include how the characters are brought to life and will also feature a sneak peek at some of the new cards coming in the expansion. It will be followed by a Q&A.

  • Batman Beyond 20th Anniversary12:15pm - 1:15pm

This celebration of Batman Beyond includes the producers, director, writers, and some of the stars of the iconic animation. They promise that if you stay until the end, there will be some exclusive prizes and announcements.

  • Gears of War Extended Universe1:00pm - 2:00pm

In this panel, the developers behind Gears of War will discuss the past, present, and future of the franchise. It will be followed by a Q&A session.

  • Marvel Games Panel1:30pm – 3:15pm

This panel offers a peek at the latest Marvel games. It is set to include new content from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, as well as Marvel’s Iron Man VR and Marvel’s Avengers. They also promise unannounced surprises and panel exclusives.

  • All Things RPG-E: Geek and Sundry5:00pm – 6:00pm

Geek & Sundry will be discussing role-playing game entertainment. As pioneers of RPG-based programming, they will be sharing stories and talking about the future of the format.

  • Making Magic for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: An Interactive Masterclass6:00pm – 7:00pm

The illusions team from the stage production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are offering an interactive panel. It will include magical demonstrations, footage, and stories about the making of the show. You will also learn some magic yourself.
