Sega recently revealed five more $150 diamond necklaces themed after the iconic video game character Sonic the Hedgehog. This comes in the context of its ongoing collaboration with jewelry maker King Ice. These new additions to the lineup feature Super Sonic, Amy, Dr. Eggman, Neutral Chao, and Dark Chao.

“Sonic made his first appearance in 1991 in the iconic video game Sonic the Hedgehog,” King Ice describes. “King Ice has reimagined Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Shadow in an eye-catching collection of streetwear pendants as part of the officially licensed collaboration with Sega for Sonic's 30th anniversary.”

According to the official description for the limited edition Super Sonic necklace, “Super Sonic is Sonic's ultimate form when the positive power of all seven chaos emeralds has been drawn out. This piece features dazzlingly bright yellow stones that surround the strong and fierce expression of Sonic in his ultimate form.” King Ice however notes how “the first round of the Limited Edition Super Sonic Necklace has sold out,” adding that potential purchasers can “sign up for alerts on the product page to be notified when the final round drops this holiday!”

King Ice previously released eight diamond necklaces depicting Sonic, Tales, Knuckles, Shadow, Fast Sonic, Flying Tales, Strong Knuckles, and Fast Shadow. Similar to the latest additions to the lineup, all of these are currently priced at $150. The necklaces are protected by a lifetime warranty.

The collaboration between Sega and King Ice comes amidst high expectations from fans of the franchise about the upcoming Sonic Frontiers. There have long been rumors about a delay, prompting Vice President at Seaga Koichi Fukazawa to explain that "we do not consider postponing the launch at this point. Within our communication with users, we intend to reflect the parts that can be reflected within the development timeline and to build empathy with users.”
