As the coronavirus continues its spread in South Korea, fears for the epidemic have prompted safety precautions in nearly every area of life, including the eSports and gaming niches. Due to growing concerns, multiple Overwatch League teams have sent their groups to the United States in an attempt to prevent the spread of the virus. One such team, the Seoul Dynasty, who had sent their team to homestead in Seoul, was sent back to the US this past week after the event was canceled due to coronavirus concerns.

Seoul Dynasty broke the news regarding their return to Los Angeles on their official Twitter on February 27. The picture showed off their entire team, along with a caption "Back to our LA home."

Luckily for Seoul Dynasty, the past two years of Overwatch League were played in Burbank, California, meaning that the majority of the team may not have to worry about legal traveling concerns, as the past competitions were so recent that their visas may qualify them to stay in the US.

As there are no make-up games currently in place, the Dynasty's next match is scheduled for April 4 in Dallas, Texas. They will go up against the Vancouver Titans.

Seoul Dynasty is not the only team to take preventative measures, as other Overwatch League teams have followed suit and sent teams back home.

The Overwatch League homesteads have been greatly affected by the coronavirus. Many teams have been forced to move back and forth between Seoul and their home countries as they try to follow the League's schedules and constant cancellations.

Many teams have posted public updates about their current travel situations, such as The Shanghai Dragons, The Guangzhou Charge, and The San Francisco Shock and Los Angeles Gladiators. Other teams, such as The Vancouver Titans and The Hangzhou Spark, have not updated fans on where they are currently headed travel-wise.

As it stands, the Overwatch League is currently down 33 games due to the constant rescheduling and cancellation. No plans have officially been addressed or announced regarding how, or when, the games will be rescheduled or made up in the future.
