There's a lot that needs to be done in the subway station, but you'll need to fight the urge to rush. Like the rest of the game, this mission rewards players who take a measured, methodical approach. Read on to find out how to complete the level!

Entrance

lati climbing skills

At the start of the mission, there's only one way to go - up! Going to the left will get you spotted immediately, so climb the ladder near the car to reach the fire escape of a nearby building. Go all the way to the roof, collecting two pieces of evidence; one on the way and one at your destination.

After getting the evidence on the roof, go back down the first escape and kick down the ladder on the left. Use it to descend to the crime scene. At the bottom of the stairs, crouch and move slowly between the building and the police barriers to get past the cop guarding the entrance. When the coast is clear, clean up the blood and grab the evidence. You can toss it over the metal barriers to the right, then hop them yourself to drop the evidence off at the car.

The cop will quickly notice the evidence is missing. Duck behind the squad car to avoid being seen.

Once the evidence is safely stored, sneak past the cop again and move to the left. You'll find a tunnel that you can squeeze through, leading to a large bloody area with a single cop patrolling. Clean the blood on whichever side the cop isn't on, then wait for him to switch and repeat the process. As soon as you're done and he's not looking, climb the dumpster near the stairs to reach the roof of the covered passageway leading to the subway platform.

Carefully walk along the roof so that you don't fall through any holes, making your way to the right to pick up the submachine gun. Follow the roof down the right-hand stairs until you're over the squad car at the crime scene entrance; when the cop is facing away, throw the gun toward your car then jump down to drop it off.

Waiting Area And Platform

locked door trap setup lati

From the starting point, go up the stairs to the platform entrance. There's a cop patrolling at the top; when they're not looking, open the ticket window and climb through it into the building. There's another cop inside, so if you need to evade them go partway up the stairs to the right until they move on.

The cop in the waiting area patrols clockwise, so move through the room cleaning up blood following his path to avoid being noticed. Don't forget to pick up the evidence in the top right corner. You can jump the turnstiles on the left or the barriers at the back of the room to make a quick escape.

The body on the left past the turnstiles can be easily taken out through the nearby doors. Wait for the cop on the stairs to move off to the right, then get the body down the stairs and to the left.

You can neutralize the cop in the waiting area permanently, even though you aren't playing as Hal!

Knock him down with a door and pick up the key he was carrying, then flee.

Once he stops searching for you, use the key to open the booth next to the turnstiles. Turn on the intercom to get him to investigate; this is best done while he's on the left side, as it gives you more time to hide.

Wait nearby for the cop to enter the booth; once he does, close the door and lock him in!

Once you're back at street level, put the body down and drag it to stay low, as this will help keep the cop patrolling the area from seeing you. Drag the corpse as far to the left as you can and dump it in the sewer before making your way back to the platform.

The body on the right side of the waiting area might take a little more preparation. Distract the cop by tagging the upper right corner of the room. When he goes to investigate, pick up the body and get it out to the left, disposing of it the same way you did the previous one.

Bodies can be tossed over the subway turnstiles.

From the waiting area, take either staircase to reach the subway platform. There's a cop on either side, each checking both the platform and the train itself. Pick a side and get to work; when the nearest cop is on the platform, clean the train and vice versa. Crouch as often as possible to avoid being seen through the windows. When it comes time to move a body, dump it over the railing on the left side; it will land near the sewers!

How To Rescue Hangman

hangman cutscene

At the far left end of the train you'll find Lati's cousin Andre, known as "Hangman" on the street. He's wounded, so you need to get him to the car. The game treats him as a body for all intents and purposes, except that you can't toss him over obstacles and police will be more suspicious if they find him out of place.

The best way to get Hangman out is to take him down the nearest staircase, waiting halfway down for the cop in the waiting area to look away if he's still a factor. Get him out the left-hand doors and down the stairs. When the cop at the entrance walks away from the squad car, take the opportunity to rush past and put Hangman in the passenger's seat.
