During the Devolver Direct, they announced Shadow Warrior 3. The game will come out sometime in 2021.

Devolver opened their direct with a new trailer for Shadow Warrior 3. The game, developed by Flying Wild Hog, showed off bloody decapitations of enemies, one-liners, and fast-paced movement. The sequel to 2016's Shadow Warrior 2 is what people expect from a Shadow Warrior game. The gameplay trailer also featured a grappling hook, which players can use to move around the map and use to grab objects to destroy enemies. The game also has a variety of movement options, like air dashing, double jumping, and wall running.

The story of Shadow Warrior 3 has Lo Wang and his sidekick, Orochi Zilla, tracking down and capturing a dragon that they accidentally released on the world. Along the way, Wang will have to kill a bunch of demons. The game seems to take big inspirations from the Doom reboot, as they have the players fight demons in the open battle arenas where the player is encouraged to keep moving. The game is visually appealing with bright colors and a lot of blood.

Shadow Warrior is a first-person shooter game, and the original game came out in 1997 on PC, developed by 3D Realms. The game got a sequel in 1998 called Shadow Warrior: Twin Dragon and Shadow Warrior: Wanton Destruction in 2005. Flying Wild Hog rebooted the game in 2013, and Devolver Digital published it.

Devolver Digital's E3 events are always exciting and quirky. They blend game announcements with a parody about game company press conferences. They are often a refreshing change of pace from the rest of the E3 conferences. They also tend to get very bloody and violent. This year, they launched a game that is about game announcements called Devolverexpo, which includes a Shadow Warrior 3 section. There were also new trailers for Fall Guys, Serious Sam 4, and Carrion. A new game studio called Bean Team is working with Devolver Digital on an unannounced game. Shadow Warrior 3 comes out in 2021, and people can wishlist the game on Steam right now.
