The latest Sims 4 expansion pack, Discover University, brings with it a range of new outfits. They include male and female outfits as well as a selection of new piercings and tattoos. Unfortunately, there aren't any outfits for children. However, what we have got is a good range of wearable items for adult sims. Here's what you can expect.

Everyday Outfits

Many of the outfits are flexible, everyday outfits. The women's clothing includes pinafore dresses, dungarees, high waisted pants, and graphic tees. There are also some new comfortable trousers including new jeans, leggings, and shorts. Alongside this are some jumpers, hoodies, jackets and crop tops.

Men's clothing comprises a range of t-shirts, jumpers, and jackets as well as new trousers and shirts, both smart and casual. You'll also find some new boots and trainers.

The majority of the clothing is very much everyday casual wear, in a similar vein to the women's clothing, and really fits the theme of University. It comprises exactly the sort of outfits you see students wearing, yet most items would also fit perfectly as everyday wear for a variety of other sims.

Tattoos and Piercings

Discover University also contains a number of new tattoos and facial piercings, something often overlooked in packs. The facial piercings are for eyebrows and nose and are all studs. The nose piercing is a single stud that can be used on either nostril and the eyebrow piercings for either eyebrow comprise either one stud or two.

The tattoos are mostly small and are for arms, wrists, ankles, and necks. They include a flower, dog and a small range of other small symbols and images. You can tell that the aim was to provide a more subtle and unique range of tattoos which can be mixed and matched more easily together.

University Pride

Finally, the create a sim selection is rounded off by a number of university-specific outfits, allowing your sims to represent their chosen campus with their clothing.

This includes athletic wear, jackets, caps, and facepaint which is specific to each campus. There are also graduation robes for both Britechester University and Foxbury Institute, as well as plain robes for those who desire.

Overall, the clothing is likely to be disappointing for those who play families but is perfectly themed to the pack and the sims that players will be using to Discover University.

The Sims 4 Discover University releases on November 15th, 2019 for PC and December 17th for PC. This preview is based on a hands-on PC demo conducted by TheGamer at the EA offices.
