There are collections to discover, exotic places to stay, new dangers to face, and some challenges that offer risk and reward. Selvadorada is as beautiful as it is dangerous and its unique nature brings a lot to the game. Here we take a look at the pack's main features to allow you to decide if it makes your wish list.

10 There's A New Vacation World

Jungle Adventure introduces the brand new vacation world of Selvadorada. Just like Granite Falls, it can be accessed by booking a vacation using your sims phone. You cannot live here but you can visit the community lots during your stay.

There are several jungle villa options available but there is (understandably) no campsite in the area. There is however a museum, bar, and national park that gives vacationers more socializing options and a different vibe to the isolation of Granite Falls.

9 Selvadorada Has Its Own Unique Culture

You are very much visiting a cultural location in Selvadorada and the game offers options to learn more about it. Talking to the locals increases your cultural skill, which can help when exploring the deeper jungle.

There are also new foods to try, new recipes to learn, and new music to listen to. The experience of vacationing here is much more social and in-depth than we've seen previously. Locals will want to share their knowledge and this will be beneficial to you both.

8 There Are Changing Temples To Explore

If your sim is feeling brave they can begin to explore the temples in the area. These are randomly generated so journeys are not the same each time. You can also explore different paths to get to them and face different hazards.

The jungle paths will require trekking and fighting your way through vines and other obstacles in order to locate the beautiful temples beyond.

7 Sims Will Need To Be Prepared

Before you just race off into the jungle it's a good idea to be prepared. The square in the main town runs a market and here you can buy items that will help keep you safe on your journey.

You'll need to chop down vines, fend off bugs, keep your needs up, and more as you spend time in the vast jungles. Having some supplies on you is essential for survival.

6 The Jungle Is A Dangerous Place

We mentioned survival and this is very literal. The jungle contains hazards that can and will kill your sim. As well as dangerous fires that can break out for a variety of reasons, you can also get infected with a lethal poison that will slowly kill your sim. It's possible to survive the poison but you need to act swiftly.

Being prepared with Selvadoradian supplies as well as spending time researching and finding out more about Selvadoradian culture and diseases will serve you well. Make sure you check the market square and see what solutions the locals can offer.

5 There Are Several Extras

Jungle Adventure also contains several extra little features. There are two new aspirations related to the area as well as new two lot traits. You'll also discover some new fish and three new harvestables.

In the jungle, you can find skeletons to befriend and an interesting and mystical tree with some very unique berries. There are also some new and seemingly random interactions.

4 You Can Become An Archaeologist

Players who love to learn about the past will enjoy the new archaeology skill. Sims will frequently find piles of dirt on the ground in Selvadorada and these can be dug up to find fossils and other valuable treasures. It's not just the temples that are filled with wonders but also the ground around them.

The new archaeology table allows sims to check their finds and verify their quality and value. Some may be trash but you can also uncover some true treasures from both digging and exploring.

3 Sims Can Fill A Museum With Finds

There are so many wonders to find in Selvadorada that you could fill either the museum in the town or even build one yourself. There are two collections of artifacts, Ancient Omiscan Artifacts, and Omiscan Treasures, and both are unique and eye-catching, adding a new dimension to displays.

New display cabinets allow you to show off the wonders you have excavated or recovered and you can even become a world-famous archaeologist in the process if you have Get Famous. However, not everything is as it first appears. Beware of fakes!

2 You Can Build A Vacation Home Or A Temple

The build and buy catalog items are split into two very distinct sections. One half is jungle temple themed. There are walls, floors, pillars, vegetation, and decor items that all fit the temple vibe. You can make your very own jungle-themed builds to explore or even stay in while on vacation.

Alongside these, there are vacation home and villa-style items, including a versatile kitchen as well as some other vacation home staples. They match particularly well with the Island Living items and can be used in regular homes.

1 Dress Like An Explorer With Jungle Themed Create-A-Sim Clothing

The clothing in this pack is versatile, basic, and casual. It's suitable for a dark and dangerous jungle excursion but also for everyday use.

If you've ever wanted to be a stereotypical explorer you now have the clothes to pull it off, alongside outfits for a more casual rambler or hiker. It's not extensive or eye-catching but it's very usable and makes a great addition to the catalog, matching well with other items.
