EA has just released a trailer for the upcoming Sims 4 Moschino Stuff Pack. The new pack will be released on August 13 for PC and Mac and September 3 for console players. It was announced on Twitter, accompanied by emojis, and is created in a style we've not seen in previous trailers.

It seems that the recent rebrand has now officially spread into the promotional content. Watching the trailer you can see that the new youth oriented branding now extends into everything with Sims 4 logos on it.

Accompanied by upbeat music and vibrant graphics, the trailer features real life footage, alongside in-game graphics, something which is new to DLC trailers. It feels right at home in conjunction with the new rebrand but the change from the norm may be a bit too much for some players, who are already expressing their dislike for the new look.

When the Moschino collaboration was first announced back in April there was also a backlash against it, with many simmers complaining that the Sims branded Moschino items were too expensive. Now for those who can't (or won't) purchase the items in stores, there is another solution, an in-game stuff pack.

The pack is set to contain a range of Moschino branded clothing, including a branded bomber jacket, orange boots and a dress covered in Moschino bears. There are also some decor items themed around photo studios.

The biggest change is the addition of a freelance fashion photographer career, something which is likely to work based on assignments, in a similar way to the current freelancer careers. According to EA the career will be unique and will involve Sims taking different images and getting them approved before the deadlines set.

The Moschino stuff pack was first announced at EA Play, where the response was muted. It seems that the response now that the trailer has been unveiled is slightly more excitable, but many fans are still skeptical.

So far the main cause of excitement has been what appear to be new curved windows.

It remains to be seen if opinions on the pack improve but we won't have long to wait before we find out.
