SINoALICE, the Yoko Taro directed free to play RPG, will be receiving multiple crossover events not long after the game's release. These will feature characters and stories adapted from another series by the eccentric director: NieR.

Pokelabo have announced that the NieR: Automata and NieR RepliCant collaboration events featured in the Japanese release of SINoALICE will be available for global players very soon. During the runtime for each event, players will be able to acquire multiple iconic characters from the NieR franchise.

Starting off with the NieR:Automata event on July 16th, four new characters are going to be featured in a scenario that will pit players against Beauvoir, the opera singer themed machine originally fought in the Abandoned Amusement Park. 2B, 9S, A2 and Emil will all be available for the event's duration, though there's no concrete information on how they'll be obtained. In the Japanese release, a free version of 2B was given out to players, with the rest only being obtainable through gacha.

SINoALICE has reached 2,000,000 pre-registrations

After this event ends on August 6th, the NieR RepliCant follow-up collaboration will be started directly afterwards. This also features a new storyline to play through, starring Young Nier, Boy Nier, Kainé Emil, Devola and Popola. Most characters will likely be locked behind a gacha, though the Japanese version did give Young Nier for free, so this may be the case for SINoALICE's global event as well. The NieR RepliCant event will end August 20th.

Announcing both collaborations so close to the game's launch is a good move. Western fans have been waiting a long time for SINoALICE to be released, as the game has been met with multiple delays. Originally being published by Nexon, it was initially hit with an indefinite hiatus due to issues with the game's localisation. After complete silence from Nexon, it was then announced that Pokelabo would be taking over publishing duties for the global version.

SINoALICE will be releasing July 1st, with pre-registration being available on both the App Store and Google Play. To celebrate reaching 2,000,000 pre-registrations, all players will receive 200 twilight crystals, the games premium currency, and 100,000 Gold. This is on top of previous bonuses, which include more crystals and multiple upgradeable characters.
