Skate just turned 14 years old today, and while that's still not quite old enough to drive, it's certainly old enough to restart an old website where fans could send in clips of their Skate games to impress the Skate community.

Skate.Reel has returned for fans to upload community content. "Back in the day, Skate.Reel was where fans uploaded clips for the community to enjoy," the site explains. "We figured it’s time to bring back this repository of ripping and fun as we roll into the future of Skate."

The community-driven content site was relaunched yesterday to celebrate Skate's 14th anniversary. It's an homage to the original site where fans would upload video clips, screengrabs, fan art, or anything else that made them happy to be part of the Skate community.

So far the site has just five video clips from content creators like Calplex, Nebula, Skate3Tommy, and KellyLitz, but it plans to have more very soon. There's a great big "submit" button in the center of the page to make it easy for fans to upload their content. That means anything from Skates 1-through-3 is fair game, and when Skate 4 eventually drops, you can upload clips for that game too.

Speaking of Skate 4, we now know that when the reborn Skate series entry arrives it'll be both on console and on PC. A few weeks back, EA confirmed with a not-so-subtle video that Skate would arrive on PC the same time it does on console, a move that'll surely appeal to PC gamers with a fondness for the franchise.

Skate creators Deran Chung and Cuz Parry also ran a Twitter AMA yesterday to answer burning questions from Skate fans. Most of them had to do with the evolution of the first three Skate games, but there were a few that went into more general topics like what their favorite skater shoes are (Vans Chima Pros for Cuz and Eras & Hald Cabs for Deran).

Skate 4 still doesn't have a release date (or technically even an official title), but we'll keep you in the loop.
