Skyrim has one courier. The poor guy has to trek through mountain ranges, dungeons, and Nazeem's pretentious commentary just to hand you a letter that says Lydia died. Probably shouldn't have Fus Ro Dah'd her off High Hrothgar, eh? He does it all with muck on his face and the same rags, but one fan has opted to give him a little makeover.

"Dapper Deliveries" is a texture update that cleans up the courier, turning him from a gruff middle-aged dad to a hustling twink with some fancy clothes. He even gets a backpack. His skin is smoother, he's got fluffier hair, and he has a twinkle in his eyes that'll make you appreciate that hand-off. By hand-off, I mean the letter.

"The courier will be a bit better-dressed," the mod description states. "No more ragged farm clothes. He's a professional! Actual deliveries! Ever wonder why someone would travel across the continent to deliver a single letter? It makes very little sense. Now, the courier will be seen carrying other supplies and items for delivery to signify you're not his only customer. He's got other stops to make!"

He's also "packing cold, hard steel," which you can take to mean whatever you want. Apparently, it's to fend off Skyrim's harsh wildlife. No longer will the courier succumb to the elements, being ravaged by wild rabbits and gluttonous deer. He can fend them off like the valiant knight he is. Oh, and he has freckles. Truly, nobody is safe.

It's compatible with a few other courier mods like Courier Delivers to NPCs, Courier Stays in Skyrim, Provincial Courier Service, and The Courier Crew. You can really spruce up Skyrim's delivery service, going from standard eBay shipping to Amazon Prime's one-day delivery. I wonder if they have a copy of The Lusty Argonian Maid at Esbern's underground video rental. Maybe.

The mod is for Skyrim Special Edition, so if you're on PC, you can download it right now and get stuck in - there are even some memes on the page to show off the courier's new and improved look.
