Game of Thrones has been the subject of many news reports over the past few weeks, which have mostly involved a decline in the show's quality as it reaches its last few episodes. No amount of dragon massacres or zombie invasions could match the headline-grabbing power of a coffee cup being left on the set during a scene in Winterfell, which prompted fans to wonder if the production staff had started to tune out, as the show is due to end soon.

The land of Westeros might have a secret ye olde equivalent to Starbucks and the same is now true of the land of Tamriel, as a new mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim adds a conspicuous looking coffee cup to the world.

There is a tag that is often used in the mod community called "Lore-Friendly," which is used for mods that contain content that matches the established lore of whatever setting the game uses. The Mysterious Coffee Cup mod is most certainly not part of the lore of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but it's a nice shoutout to a production mistake that somehow managed to be more popular than the contents of a full episode of Game of Thrones.

The only way to make the mod more realistic is if it gave the player the dragon riding ability from the Dragonborn DLC and forced them to go crazy and massacre all of the citizens in Windhelm for no good reason. The mod would naturally wait until you reached the end of the game and are at the point where you are most invested in the story before causing a heel-turn out of nowhere and letting the developers throw away all of the good will that they had earned up to that point.
