Party Gordo is a strange pink slime that loves to dance to EDM while wearing a party hat. The problem is that even some of the most seasoned ranchers may not be able to find him.

What is Party Gordo
Party Gordo is a giant Pink Gordo Slime who wears a party hat and star-shaped shades. He is the hardest slime to find in the game for new players, and only appears at certain times of the week. However, players can pretty reliably locate Party Gordo.
Here's what we know about the little dude:
- Gordo is connected to online servers, so he will appear in the same spot for all players every week.
- He is part of an event known as Party Weekend, so he can only be found on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
- Finding him and feeding him 30 food will cause him to burst and give you eight crates to smash open. This includes rare Party Crates that all have a 50/50 chance of giving you a rare ornament to decorate your ranch with.
- He spawns small Party Slimes upon bursting.
Patry Slimes will turn into normal pink slimes when picked up, but some players have added them to their ranch by literally pulling them into an enclosure after popping Party Gordo.
How to Find Party Gordo
Finding Party Gordo isn't difficult once you learn how he spawns. The event plays out as a small hunt each weekend. Party Gordo is a stationary slime that will stay in one spot each weekend until you find him. When you get close to him, party music will begin to play signaling that he is close by.
Since he spawns for every single player in the same spot, the Slime Rancher community usually works together to find him and successfully post his location.
- Tip: Turn off music sounds using the sound menu and turn the game's master audio all the way up. Many players use headphones during the hunt to track down Party Gordo more easily.
- Tip: Party Gordo Doesn't Spawn on Ash Isle or Nimble Valley.
It's important to note that you will have more luck getting to Party Gordo once you have unlocked all the slime gates. Every time he spawns, he will be out in the open, so most players can find him simply by wandering around the map listening for his music track to begin playing.
Occasionally, Party Gordo will spawn on off days or in pairs if there is an upcoming holiday or New Years' occurs on the weekend.
