Nobody saw the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remake coming, and fewer still thought that it would be both good and popular enough to sell 1 million units in less than two weeks. That’s faster than any other Tony Hawk skater game in the long history of Tony Hawk skater games.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 is not just a faithful recreation of the original games that started their own genre. It also came with brand new features to get longtime fans back on their boards. One of those features just so happened to be a creation mode where the player can make their own skate park, and somebody decided to do a Smash Bros. mashup for the ages.

YouTuber Skramblez spent untold hours recreating Hyrule Temple in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Smash fans will note every painstaking detail has been translated from the two-dimensional fighting game into a three-dimensional skating game by pretty much making every surface curved and putting rails and ramps absolutely everywhere.

Even the last floating island at the bottom of the map has been turned into a drained pool.

You can find Hyrule Temple right now on the Create A Park browser. Just search “Hyrule Temple” and you’re sure to find it.

In other bizarre Tony Hawk mashup news, you can also be a skatelord in Crusader Kings thanks to this mod, which provides a lifestyle trait that de-stresses your ruler for taking a few years off commanding serfs in order to perform some sick tricks at the skatepark behind the castle. It also turns Genghis Khan into the biggest skatelord of them all, and instead of invading your kingdom, he’ll just come to hang out at the skatepark.

If you're looking for tips and tricks, we've got a wealth of forbidden skate knowledge available, as well as info on how to unlock the skateboarding alien. There might also be a DLC coming in the future, so stay tuned.
