Someone accurately predicted four of the DLC fighters that would come to Smash Ultimate more than two years ago.

Sora has officially been added to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster. The Kingdom Hearts star is the final fighter to be added to the game which means two things. The game's massive roster is complete, and the discourse over who should or shouldn't be added next is now over. We all made predictions every time a reveal was on the horizon, and most of the time, we were all wrong.

Since even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut, some of us would strike lucky with a Smash prediction every now and again. Quite a few people foresaw Sora's arrival, for example. However, no one has quite the same return on their predictions as NoponDigi. They predicted Sora would be a Smash fighter more than two years ago.

In fact, NoponDigi accurately predicted four of Smash Ultimate's upcoming DLC fighters all in one go. Hero, Banjo Kazooie, Minecraft's Steve, and Sora rounds out the quartet. The tweet actually reads that one of those four would eventually be a playable fighter in Smash Ultimate. Getting one of four right would have been impressive enough, but to have nailed all four is quite the feat.

The replies to the tweet have naturally come back to life since the reveal of Sora and confirmation of a clean sweep for NoponDigi. However, the more amusing replies are the ones posted immediately after the tweet was published two years ago. One, in particular, that labeled anyone who believed Sora's arrival in Smash was inevitable as “dumb”. Granted, considering the companies involved it was always unlikely, but that just makes NoponDigi's prediction even better.

There are likely hundreds, if not thousands of tweets out there predicting who would be the next characters to make the Smash Ultimate cut. Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Waluigi, and Master Chief all miss out this time around, and perhaps forever. Sakurai has hinted in the past that Ultimate will be the final Super Smash Bros. game. If there are more installments in the series, then Sakurai won't be the one making the fighter announcements.
