Sega and Atlus are bringing the collector's edition for Shin Megami Tensei 5 to the west, and you can go ahead and pre-order both the standard copy and Fall of Man Premium Edition today. To celebrate its debut, Shin Megami Tensei 5 also received a brand new gameplay trailer.

Just last week during Nintendo's E3 showcase, Sega and Atlus revealed that the next SMT entry would launch on November 12, after four long years of waiting. You also got your first peek at the new gameplay, revealing an SMT that should be familiar to series veterans.

Following last week's big reveal, we're now getting our first looks at how Shin Megami Tensei 5 will come packaged. It looks like you'll have two editions, a Fall of Man Premium Edition and a Steelbook Edition. For the Fall of Man bundle, you'll of course get the game, then a bag inspired by the protagonist's outfit, steelbook, hardcover Demon Handbook 2 CD soundtrack - all packaged in a collectible box. It's priced at $119.99, while you can pick up the regular steelbook edition for the standard $59.99 while supplies last. Sega and Atlus have noted that both versions of the physical Shin Megami Tensei 5 packages will be available via Best Buy, GameStop, and Amazon in the west.

We also got a brand new gameplay trailer, showing our new protagonist in a vision of Tokyo that's an unfamiliar, abandoned wasteland known as Da'at. Just like before, you'll acquire otherworldly powers through new encounters with demonic tyrants, and embark on an adventure to save the world. Also, love that hair, protag.

It's a pretty good time to be an SMT fan this year, it seems. In addition to this year's new launch, Atlus just rereleased another classic, Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne. Our very own Dave Aubrey reviewed the dark PS2 cult hit featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series, and found it to be a "perfectly acceptable port".
