It’s been about a month since the last Nintendo Direct, and while we’re all eagerly awaiting the arrival of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, it looks like Sniper Elite 4 will hit the Switch just a few days earlier.

Announced at September’s Direct livestream, Sniper Elite 4 is getting ported to the Switch after the success of the Sniper Elite 3 port a year earlier. Rebellion managed to do great things with limited hardware, and it looks like they’re doing it all over again with Sniper Elite 4. The trailer showcased a game that looks as polished as it does on home consoles and PC but now built for Nintendo’s handheld.

And now we’ve got a launch date. Sniper Elite 4 arrives for Switch on November 17th in both digital and physical forms.

For those new to the Sniper Elite series, the third-person tactical stealth shooter has you take the role of Karl Fairburne, SOE operative and seasoned sniper who’s been tasked with infiltrating an Italian base and taking out several Nazi generals. The Nazis have just used a new superweapon to sink an allied container ship, and it’s up to Fairburne to put a stop to the German weapon’s development program once and for all.

Along with the usual stealth mechanics, Sniper Elite has become well-known for its x-ray kill-cam where players are treated to an extremely graphic representation of the bullet’s path as it causes mayhem in the target’s squishy meat body. It’s a little over the top, but then again, sniping is a deeply personal way to murder someone, so in that sense being a little over the top is entirely appropriate.

Sniper Elite 4 on the switch will add features like gyroscopic aiming, Joy-Con HD rumble, and local wireless connectivity for co-op and multiplayer. Everything else is the same Sniper Elite 4 that you’ve come to know and love.

Sniper Elite 4 hits the Nintendo Switch on November 17.
