The making of Solasta: Crown of the Magister, developed by Tactical Adventures, is in large part credited to the community that helped fund the game’s kickstarter. Since its 2021 release, Solasta has continued to foster these community relations by giving power back to the player—the most obvious example being the additional feature of Solasta’s Workshop.

10 Slave Lords Series

The Slave Lords series consists of four smaller adventures, making it an ideal choice for those who crave an in-and-out gaming experience. In the first module, Haunted Keep of the Slavers, you'll be tracking down the goblin raiders who captured 16 villagers, some of whom are your relatives.

In the haunted keep, you'll discover chilling secrets about the noble Rodemus family and why they were overthrown by a peasant revolt—a mysterious event no one dares speak about. Each Slave Lords module offers about five hours of gameplay.

9 Interdimensional Escalations

By offering milestone-based leveling, Interdimensional Escalations gives you the freedom to engage only with the content you find interesting and grants the ability to skip any chapters you don't want to play. Depending on the actions you take in this campaign, you can unlock one of two different story endings.

There are up to 30 hours of gameplay in this campaign, during which your numerous skill checks will have meaningful consequences. The action spans expansive 27 maps.

8 Depths Of Darkness: An Eiru Adventure

Explore the once-proud fortress called Sunless Citadel and uncover the truth surrounding its mysterious, long-forgotten past. Depths of Darkness: An Eiru Adventure is filled to the brim with lore, but it's optional if you're not in the mood for a history lesson.

The campaign includes 26 maps with varying environments, along with all kinds of puzzles and mysteries. Additionally, your choices of backgrounds, races, classes, and personalities unlock new dialogue, showcasing the dedication that went into the making of this adventure.

7 Destined To Be Loveless

If you're more interested in stories of intrigue, Destined To Be Loveless is the Solasta campaign for you. The dark secrets of the rich and reclusive Loveless clan are woven into the environment itself, reflected in branching paths, interesting loot, hidden areas, and expertly crafted level designs that bring the mysterious estate to life.

The writing is especially noteworthy, weaving together many intricate details that you might have initially overlooked. This campaign contains about six hours of gameplay.

6 Morrows Deep

After a long journey across the badlands, your party is denied entry into the trade city of Morrows Deep. You'll have to venture into the underworld to find out why the city has recently been locked away from outsiders.

There's plenty to do in this campaign, and it's particularly fun for those who enjoy making frequent use of charisma skills. Morrows Deep features a fully implemented—but optional—crafting system, custom weapons, wands, and magical artifacts, and 35 hours of gameplay.

5 Shadows Over Brightreach

After taking on what seems like a simple thievery job, you and your party are plunged into a diabolical plot that threatens the entire land. Boasting 72 explorable areas and 35 hours of gameplay, Shadows Over Brightreach is a challenging campaign for players beginning at level five, minimum.

Along with rich dialogue, crafting, and merchant systems, you can face off against 124 custom-made enemies to prove your might. Uncover secret locations and challenge the Underground's reigning Champion during your adventure.

4 Vel Explorer

True to its name, Vel Explorer is best suited for those who prefer exploring at their own pace in vastly open worlds, far away from the comforts of civilization. Though it will take some time to come across merchants and other friendly NPCs, this feature could pose a fun challenge for some.

The campaign has three different endings, fast travel portals, and a total of 24 maps. Vel Explorer is a great module for any type of player, from casual to hardcore.

3 Through The Realm Of Mysts

If you're afraid of the dark, Through the Realm of Mysts is not for you! Atmospheric and moody, this campaign features challenging combat with all different types of terrifying creatures and dark lords. There are multiple mysteries to solve, frequent skill checks, and open areas to explore in full.

You'll be able to take on the various side quests in any order you prefer. Even if you're comfortable in the shadows, you'll want to have plenty of light sources for your adventure.

2 Ruins of Ilthismar

With 49 maps and 40 hours of gameplay, there's no shortage of content to enjoy in Ruins of Ilthismar. After being attacked on the roads, you find yourself at an old abandoned Moathouse inhabited by a strange group.

Along with intense combat encounters, you'll be able to use a caravan system for transportation inside the Ruins, trigger interlude cutscenes with NPCs, and haggle with all kinds of merchants. Uncover secrets about an ancient, forgotten city and learn the identity of the mysterious 'Master' you keep hearing about.

1 Temple of Evil

A murder mystery guides your characters to the Temple of Einar, where you'll uncover an even more sinister plot connected to a dark location known as Witch Mountain. Offering plenty of dungeon-crawling, this immensely popular workshop campaign features 26 maps, challenging combat, customized NPCs with dialogue, and up to 30 hours of gameplay.

Temple of Evil is cleverly designed, making it easy to lose track of time while playing. Go ahead and gather your party to cleanse Witch Mountain and take down a centuries-old dark force.
