A talented developer has recreated one of Resident Evil Village's most memorable locations in Media Molecule's Dreams, and it's seriously impressive.

Martin Nebelong, an artist at Media Molecule, recently posted his version of Castle Dimitrescu on Twitter, and it was created entirely in Dreams  "from scratch."

The video below provides a virtual tour of Lady Dimitrescu's home and, although scaled-down in size, perfectly captures the gothic beauty of Village's first major location. Going into detail, Nebelong shows off the dimly lit foyer of the castle complete with a chandelier, fireplace, sofas and a replica of the iconic winding staircase. It doesn't stop there either.

Up the steps, you can see the gorgeous white and gold ornate walls that can be seen throughout the castle, as well as a number of doors leading into specific rooms reminiscent of those in the original location. Sadly, we don't catch a glimpse inside of them.

In another tweet, the artist showed a second video of him sitting in Dreams VR drawing next to the fireplace. He said: "Being in that room, with the positional audio of the fireplace, is an incredibly immersive experience."

Resident Evil Village launched earlier this month for PC and consoles and has since shipped 3 million units worldwide. The game has also become the best performing game in the series on PC in its short time of release, peaking at 77, 443 players on its first day.

In her Resident Evil Village review, Jade King said the game is "yet another stroke of genius from Capcom as its modern ambition for the franchise finally come full circle."

Dreams is no stranger to wonderful creations such as this, so hopefully Media Molecule and other talented creators will surprise us with even more Resident Evil locations in the future - since there is much potential in this game alone.
