Promotional material for Sonic Frontiers has surfaced online, suggesting a November 15 launch date.

Although Sega has been especially adamant that it won't be delaying Sonic Frontiers out of 2022, it's remained pretty tight-lipped on when exactly in the year it's going to release, only confirming a "Holiday" date. It seems like we'll find out soon, however, as some marketing material has surfaced online that indicates the game's release date.

A Reddit user has come across a vendor on a Taiwanese online marketplace who appears to have obtained Sonic Frontiers advertising materials, which show some new art and hint at a release date. The promo claims that DLC for Frontiers is already in development, something we didn't previously know, as well as showing Tails, Amy, and, for the first time, Knuckles.

The promotional material itself looks to be legitimate, as the art featuring Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and Amy is new and would be a lot of work for someone to fake. The rest of the promotional material items all look like they'd take a lot of work to fake, too.

Thankfully, it seems that we're not far off finding out the official release date of Sonic Frontiers for ourselves. Geoff Keighley confirmed that his Gamescom Opening Night Live ceremony will feature a brand new trailer for the game, and if this rumoured release date of November 15 is to be believed, then it makes sense for Sega to announce it as soon as possible so that it can get the marketing train rolling.

As mentioned earlier, Sega has been incredibly sure that it won't be delaying Sonic Frontiers, despite it receiving a fair amount of mixed reception following the first gameplay trailer. Sega senior executive vice president Koichi Fukazawa previously said, "We do not consider postponing the launch at this point. Within the communication with users, we intend to reflect the parts that can be reflected within the development timeline and to build empathy with users".
