Bangers are one the way, hopefully. Sonic Frontiers will have 150 music tracks, the most of any game in the series. The soundtrack will also be available to stream shortly after release, with the full album titled Stillness & Motion. We don't have a tracklist yet, but it's very likely that Stillness & Motion will feature the songs we've already heard in Frontiers' promotional material. We know it will include the main theme, I'm Here, which is a certified bop if you haven't heard it already. A physical version of the album will also release on six CDs, and will be bundled with a booklet and behind-the-scenes content. This is roughly £50, giving us an idea of how much we'll have to fork out if we want to pick up a physical copy. So, how on earth are we getting 150 tracks? It's not clear how that many songs will be crammed into Frontiers, even if it is an open-zone game. Although given that older stages are set to return, it's possible that the album will contain tracks from previous games, and maybe even some remixes.

It's also possible that there will be in-game regional differences in terms of what tracks are used. As we covered recently, we already know that Frontiers' Japanese release will differ greatly from what we get in North America and Europe. In Japan, Sega is going for a more sombre and isolated experience, so it's likely the choice of music will reflect that. The West, on the other hand, is apparently getting the tone we're used to. If there is indeed a difference in music across regions, then it's possible that Stillness & Motion will bring all of it together, making all of the tracks available in one place.

Stillness & Motion will release December 8, exactly a month after Sonic Frontiers.
