Sony Reveals Amazing New Cover Art For 10 PS4 Exclusives

Sony is celebrating ten of PS4-exclusive games with brand new artistic cover art.

If the PS4 is known for anything, it's for having excellent exclusive games. From God of War, to Spider-Man, Sony's console has developed an incredible catalog of games that you can't find anywhere else, and the company is looking to celebrate ten of those games with brand new artistic cover art.

In a recent tweet, Playstation UK announced brand new, silhouette-style box art that will soon be available for ten of their exclusive games. Those games include: God of War, Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition, The Last Guardian, The Last of Us Remastered, Marvel's Spider-Man, Ratchet and Clank, Shadow of the Colossus, Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, and WipEout Omega Collection.

Each case looks incredible, and perfectly captures the mood of its given game. From the God of War cover that sports a silhouette of Kratos and Atreus on an icy blue background reminiscent of game's cold atmosphere, to The Last of Us Remastered's cover containing the contrasting black and white silhouettes of both Joel and Ellie, symbolizing their relationship and the game's narrative dynamic, each piece of cover artwork was clearly well thought out and meaningfully designed.

Unfortunately, these games containing the new box art are currently only available in the United Kingdom. Although this is certainly disappointing to those in the United States and other countries who wish to get their hands on one of these copies, Playstation has also mentioned that it is looking to get high-resolution versions of the images so players in other countries can download and print them, and then of course add the artwork to their existing game cases. Playstation has yet to confirm nor deny whether or not these cases will experience a worldwide release at some point, but our fingers are certainly crossed.

Obviously, if you're a massive fan of one of these games, the alternative box art provides for an excellent collectible item, and it's really cool that Playstation has gone ahead and made these uniquely styled designs. If anything, they do an excellent job of highlighting what makes each game special, as well as reminding everyone just how damn spectacular the PS4's catalog of exclusive games is.
