The Uncharted film has been the elephant in the room for a while now. Fans weren't happy with the poster while it changed hands numerous times as directors came and went, but Tom Holland said that it will work for everyone, not just fans of the game - the build-up has been a confusing, mixed bag, but this new trailer has begun to bleed a little more optimism into discussions around the movie. We even get to see how Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) meets Victor Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). The two bump heads in a bar and quickly become friends, already riffing on each other from the get-go. Drake shows Sully his collector's room with a map to "the biggest treasure that's never been found." It's a simple way to kick the plot into gear, but it's intrinsically Uncharted - fabled treasure hunted for by two assholes? That sums up most of the games.RELATED: I'm Glad Uncharted: Lost Legacy Is Getting Another Chance In The SpotlightWe then get some action, a further look at the aeroplane scene, and we meet Chloe Frazer (played by Sophia Taylor Ali). If you don't know, she's one of the main characters in Uncharted 2, but she's not the only familiar face from the games to crop up alongside the main two - we also get a passing reference to Sam Drake, Nathan's brother. Nathan and Sully steal from him and fight a few of his goons, trashing his establishment in the process. Bit rude of 'em, but they probably have good reason too. The Uncharted movie comes out on February 18, 2022. Next: Dear Companies, Stop Delisting Old Games Once Remasters Come Out
