The Spider-Man: Miles Morales reveals keep on coming, this time in the form of gameplay showcasing the new hero's camouflage ability.

2020 has been a year of delays for a number of reasons. Whether it be movies, games, or TV shows, fans and viewers will likely have long waits for just about everything that was either supposed to be released or created this year. Which is why it came as something of a surprise when PlayStation revealed a brand new Spider-Man game would be one of the PS5's launch titles.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales isn't a full sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man, hence why Insomniac was able to get it done sooner than Spidey fans were expecting. That means it won't be as long or in-depth as the eventual sequel will be, but will act as a bridge that fills out Morales's story and first months as a Spider-Man.

Morales will be the cover star of the next issue of Game Informer, and to celebrate, it has been gradually revealing details and new gameplay. That has included a first look at Morales in action against a boss, and also the reveal of Spider-Cat which understandably sent social media into a frenzy. The latest clip, which you can check out below, shows off some of the new abilities Morales will bring to the table.

The most impressive and useful of those abilities will be camouflage. As can be seen in the clip above, Morales will have an ability that allows him to turn invisible. A game-changer when it comes to missions in which Spidey needs to be stealthy. A gauge showing how long Morales can remain transparent is shown in the top right-hand corner of the screen. If it could be used freely and forever, that would make missions like these a little too easy.

As is the case in the comics and Into The Spider-Verse, Morales's powers are very different to Peter Parker's in the new game. Fans have already seen Morales's Venom Punch in action, and this new gameplay shows off his stronger reliance on electricity. Combat might have the same base as in the original game, but Morales's abilities, move set, and finishers will make it a very different experience.
