Every iteration of Spider-Man throughout has donned an overwhelming amount of different suits. Whether for special powers, time periods, or just to look cool, Spider-Man’s iconic gallery of super get-ups are a sight to behold. A recent trend in the two fantastic Insomniac Spider-Man games thus far has been to have many of these suits be unlockable and wearable (even in cutscenes, thank goodness).

Despite being a newer iteration of Spider-Man, Miles Morales already has a huge gallery of suits in his closet. This new Spidey adventure lets players unlock so many unique looks for Miles, and while some are better than others, it’s nice to see even more Spider-history on display in this love letter to the multi-verse of webheads.

18 Great Responsibility Suit

Great Responsibility Suit

The second suit in the game that is given by Peter Parker before he leaves New York in the capable hands of Miles Morales, the Great Responsibility is as classic as a Spider-Man suit comes. Because of this however, a lot of the unique traits of Miles Morales don’t quite shine through with this one. The bunched up neck fabric and the knee pads also don’t quite give off the “professional super hero look”. Still, with great power...

17 Sportswear Suit

This suit is very reminiscent of Miles Morales in the film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, with the combo of the classic red Spider suit and track shorts and hoodie. It’s such a cool combo that makes Miles feel more unique next to Peter Parker’s Spider-Man. Also, the sweet shoes are totally fit for fighting crime.

16 Homemade Suit

Having its first comic appearance in Spider-Man Annual in 2018, this hastily thrown together suit was made by Miles when he needed to take Spidey action but didn’t have a proper suit yet. This suit is fun in the way of simplicity, but is only fun for a while until you really want to don some legit suits. Those Timbs are out-of-this-world slick though.

15 Spider-Training Suit

This “suit” is interesting, if only for showing Miles Morales in his every day outfit, but with just a Spider-Man mask over his face.

It would’ve been cool to have an suit that was just Miles Morales without any hint Spider-Man outfit, but protecting a super hero identity is important. Maybe once the Marvel Civil War happens and Spider-Man reveals his identity, we can have that privilege.

14 The End Suit

This suit was part of an incredibly dark Miles Morales storyline called Miles Morales: The End, which focused on an older Miles Morales who was acting as both a Spider-Man in future Brooklyn, and the mayor. The hooded jacket and camouflage pants are indicative of the dark times that Miles finds himself in during that storyline, and it looks incredibly cool despite the intensity.

13 STRIKE Suit

Swinging in the strike suit

This suit that envisions Miles with an armoured STRIKE suit is pretty straight forward and blunt. The chunky design and bright red colors walk the line between super cool and super clunky. Although, that built in high collar and those beefy gauntlets certainly help its case. At the very least, its still a threatening suit that will have baddies running in the other direction.

12 Miles Morales 2099 Suit

Taken from Miles Morales: Spider-Man Issue #12 in 2019, this vision of what Miles would look like in the infamous 2099 Spider-Man universe is quite striking. The black and red work in great tandem here, and the hood makes its return but it compliments the suit’s glowing white eyes that steam. Hopefully someday Miles Morales can hop into the multi-verse to join Miguel O’Hara in 2099 (Into The Spider-Verse 2, anyone?)

11 Purple Reign Suit

This suit heavily resembles The Prowler (their identity, to save from spoilers, will not be revealed here), and it works on Miles quite well. While purple and green can feel a little too much like a reminder of The Joker from the Batman series, it’s pulled off tastefully with this suit. Plus, Miles gets a sweet utility belt and that’s never a bad thing in the superhero business.

10 Classic Suit/Uptown Pride Suit

Simplicity is key here, and the Classic Suit is where its done best. Essentially a color swap of the classic Spider-Man suit, it is way cooler in many ways. The bright red all around the suit and circling the eyes combined with the dark grey is pleasing to the eye, and the non-complex nature of the suit lets Miles’ personality stand center stage.

The Uptown Pride Suit is also here because it is largely the same as the Classic Suit, but with gold accents instead of red. It’s totally a matter of preference.

9 Crimson Cowl Suit

This suit shows what might happen if the red accents on Miles suit just wasn’t enough for him. The Crimson Cowl Suit focuses heavily on the red, and brings back the pointed hood for a very sleek and powerful look. This suit is heavily reminiscent of the Red Hood from Batman (some cross-brand inspiration is expected every now and then)

8 Brooklyn Visions Academy Suit

Essentially just the classic suit, the Brooklyn Visions Academy Suit makes it even cooler with a backpack and a BVA school uniform jacket. It adds even more cool personality to the Classic Suit, although its not doing any favors for hiding Miles’ secret identity. Any super-sleuth could see this jacket and do some digging to find out who this Spider-Man actually is. Be careful before you represent your alma mater, Miles!

7 Winter Suit

Gained from a side quest in the game, the Winter Suit makes sure that Miles stays warm and healthy during the winter months. Basically, the Winter Suit takes the Classic Suit, but gives Miles a winter hat, scarf, warm socks, and ear muffs. Especially with a winter release of the game, wearing this suit feels especially comfy.

6 TRACK Suit

One of the best original suits made just for the game, the TRACK Suit takes the Classic Suit and makes it more dynamic in all the best ways.

The blending of the red/black/white colors absolutely pop, and it feels both futuristic and modern. A fantastic alternative for when you want some more pep in your swing.

5 Animated Suit

Miles without his mask in the ultimate spider man show

A fan favorite inclusion from Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, any time an Animated Suit appears, fans will go wild. This particular animated suit is from Miles Morales’s appearance in Ultimate Spider-Man, and this suit emulates the ecstatic style from that show. Miles won’t quite fit stylistically into the game’s realistic world anymore, but with a suit this cool, it’s the least of concerns.

4 Bodega Cat Suit

Swinging with the bodega cat suit

This suit is bound to be many player’s favorite. The Bodega Cat Suit sees Miles being given a sweatshirt and a backpack from a local store owner. The catch: the backpack includes everyone’s favorite hairball, Spider-Man the cat! From this point on, players can put their photo mode to good use as they swing around and get some amazing photo opportunities with their cowled cat companion.

3 Programmable Matter Suit

This suit feels a lot like the Iron Spider suit from the first Insomniac Spider-Man game, as in it changes the combat animation if you wear it. The Programmable Matter Suit is reflective grey and red, and its matter changes forms as you fight with it. The suit looks super sleek while also having visual flair in combat scenarios .

2 Miles Morales 2020 Suit

This suit is one of the many Miles Morales suits that originates from an alternate cover of one of his comic book issues. This suit has a slick digital look to it, and the red and black colors are perfectly matched to each other. The coolest thing however, is Miles’ digital helmet that projects his Spider eyes for all to see. If Miles ever joins Daft Punk, this would be the suit to wear.

1 Into the Spider-Verse Suit

Combat with into the spider verse suit

A suit so cool that it got its own trailer before the game’s release, the Into the Spider-Verse Suit is based off of the hit movie Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The suit itself has such a cool spray-paint style, and has extremely expressive eyes. The coolest thing about the suit is that its movement emulates the unique animation style of the movie and there is even a suit upgrade that adds comic book style animations after every punch. Every fan of the game wants to put their hand on the shoulder of this amazing suit and say “...hey.”
