What's the one thing missing from Spider-Man PS4? Being able to swing around New York City as the Kingpin of Crime, Wilson Fisk. No costume, just his black and white suit, bald noggin, and layers of pure muscle.
Now it's a reality thanks to a mod from jedijosh920. It's essentially Spider-Man with a Kingpin skin. But visually, we get to see Fisk running on walls, leaping through the air, and swinging to his heart's content as though he's finally found inner peace.
The mod isn't available to download, unfortunately, so all we can do for now is watch these clips of Kingpin in action, taking over from Spider-Man while he's off on vacation. You can see it in action below.
While there's music playing over the video, we can see from the subtitles that Spider-Man is talking to Yuri. That means Fisk is not only swinging about like Spider-Man but sounding exactly like him. The ups and downs of a reskin, eh?
With music, it's already a bit unsettling seeing him take on the role of the wallcrawler, but it'd be doubly so if we heard Peter Parker's voice coming from his mouth. Then again, that's pretty much what Chameleon does.
It's unlikely that we'll ever get to play as Spider-Fisk in an official capacity but at least we can look forward to Miles Morales and maybe even Venom in Spider-Man 2.
